Wonderful housekeeper lives nearby if an issue arrises

Location, location, location! Located in prime Manasota Key location near scenic beach on a tiny quiet island Street, the ultra-charming Blue Island Inn offers absolutely spectacular Bay views from all suites! Low-key respectful vacationers only as this is a nice peaceful beach community. Located near the Key’s popular restaurants, many of which offer a free shuttle service (tip based).

Guests have access to upstairs Bella Vista and also to common area amenities: pool, our sandy “bay beach”, fishing dock (no boat docking), Ping-Pong, laundry room.
- Note: TV's typically "ON" at arrival

Rental car is most popular, most affordable option for most people. Uber and Lyft are also options. Most of the restaurants on the Key offer free shuttle service or call Stumpy’s Free ride.

- ONE parking spot per Villa at Blue Island Inn. Sorry no visitor parking. No oversize vehicles. No boat parking or boat docking due to insurance restrictions.

AMENITIES:

Each of our places has a free WIFI, Beach towels, folding beach chairs, Sand toy set & all linens provided. Charcoal grills (guest to provide own charcoal). Free use of our laundry room on main floor.

***Smart TV - login to your favorite tv streaming service from home with your own login info from home. OR enjoy basic free channels on our smart TV (no cable/dish. just smart tv. For popular sports games, End Zone or Lock n Key are popular with sports fans.

Exceeded expectations! The property manager was so outgoing, friendly and accommodating! The unit was very well stocked with all needs/equipment for use of the full kitchen, and the unit even included a washer & dryer which was an added bonus. The sunrise views from the dining table were outstanding. They go the extra mile to be sure everything in and around the property is welcoming and clean!

Nice, but with issues

The house, having 4 additional rental units not listed in the description, is located at the end of a very narrow drive/pathway; online pictures were not current. Our unit was a beautifully open concept upper facing the bay. We had two impactful issues affecting our stay causing the low star rate. Upon our arrival after 4pm we encountered ALL of the allotted parking spaces taken to include a large truck/trailer combo in one of them blocking the small parking area. Once in our unit, we discovered cleaning was unfinished; used dirty gloves were on the kitchen counter, wet towels on the floor in the bathroom, full can of bathroom garbage, the king sized bed in one of the bedrooms had no sheets or comforter on the bed, and wet towels & bedding left in the washing machine. We called the service who contacted Elena who advised us she had car trouble and was coming back to the property to finish, which she did. More impacting was the first two days we endured workers operating a front loader, sledge hammers, and other tools busting up patio concrete cement/blocks UP AGAINST the house directly in the pool area. Loud banging all day, house shaking; we couldn't enjoy the pool, view, or have any peace. Contacted the owner, Amy, received no response. Lost two days of vacation. Reached out again to Amy upon our return home and still no response. While we loved Manasota Key, our stay at Bella Vista was negatively impacted with no compensation from the owner.

Sweet and Laid back

Super cute Inn....great morning views of Lemon Bay. Pool was refreshing....beach was a short walk away. Hostess had great towels, beach chairs, and pull carts. Kitchen was VERY well equipped. Even had a glass pitcher for our margaritas! Only thing I would suggest was the "bar soap" provided was a small round sample-type soap. So, bring your own body wash. It was a lovely stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Celebration of life weekend

Perfect in Every Way

This spacious and immaculate property was a dream come true. Overlooking Lemon Bay and the sunrise, it was just a short walk to the endless beach and the sunset. The unit was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well stocked including spices. When questions arose, the host was right there with the answers. We would definitely recommend this lovely spot to anyone.

Beautiful waterfront stay!

We booked this trip for a long weekend and we are so glad we did. We usually like to be oceanfront, but waking up to the bay sure was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise each day. The beach was easy to get to and was beautiful and private. We felt like we had the beach to ourselves! Absolutely loved having access to beach towels, chairs, coolers, sand toys, umbrellas. The unit we stayed in was clean and well-stocked. Loved the view of the water from nearly every room. The onsite property manager was super sweet and we enjoyed chatting with her while there. We will be coming back!

Beautiful Bay View

There were many things to do - kayaks, fishing from the pier. Even board games within the property. Saw manatees, dolphins, and all kinds of birds in the bay. The beach was not a far walk - do have to carry beach accessories to beach as the beach carts needed repair. But the chairs were all in good condition. There is even a small cooler to use to take to the beach. The beach was very nice. Was never crowded. Close distance to many of the restaurants.

Loved this place

Loved staying here. We were welcomed with a tray of goodies like coffee, oatmeal, soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions which by the way smelled so good. Our first stay at this location and we enjoyed it. The view of the bay was great. Watching the sunrise each morning was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Lovely, spacious, comfortable Getaway!

We truly enjoyed the privacy and location of the Belle Vista. We met a few other guests while in the pool. I loved the rooms and how spacious the unit was. I had great communication with hosts, an immediate response to a bee nest outside (out of an abundance of caution they removed it - did not affect our stay). Having beach access across the street was great. It was nice to be able to walk to see the sunset since this property is bayside. I enjoyed watching the sunrise from the dock and even from the bay windows while sipping coffee. I truly can only think of one improvement - and it's a personal choice. The weather was VERY hot when we visited. Even the gulf water wasn't refreshing. It would be nice to swim in the evening after baking in 95-100 degree days. This location has pool hours that close at dark. If you're looking for private and quiet - this is your place! We would book again! Thank you!

Very Relaxing and comfortable

This property was clean and well appointed. We did a beach weekend with two granddaughters, we all enjoyed this property. The kitchen is beautiful and has great selection of appliances and spices etc. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunrises over the bay every morning. The short walk to the beach found us enjoying sunsets at the beach. The pool was nice, clean and not crowded. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the unit was, even with other units occupied. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels even with girls. The stacked laundry is definitely a plus. We did not use the kayaks because of age restrictions, but that is a really nice bonus for the adults. Would visit here again.

Great Little Place

We really enjoyed this property! You can’t beat the location! The property is accurately depicted in the pictures with a beautiful view of Lemon Bay and is an easy 3-5 minute walk to the beach. I thoroughly enjoyed the bay sunrises and the beach sunsets. The pool area is very well kept and clean, we spent a lot of time there as well. The place was clean, fully stocked, and came with all the beach essentials. Amy is a great host and quickly answered any questions we had and offered up suggestions of things to do in the area. We also loved the quaint quietness of Manasota Key and will definitely consider booking here again.

Relaxation with Awesome Views

Bella Vista was the perfect location for our first trip to Manasota Key! So glad to find the pictures truly reflected the suite. Well-stocked kitchen, clean, roomy living space, amazing sunrises over Lemon Bay, easy walk to gulf beach, nearby restaurants, low-key vibe, safe area, plus welcoming goodies, detailed online guidebook and prompt responses from Amy. We loved our waterfront vacation and hope to be back!

This is by far the prettiest condo we have rented. So clean and well equipped. Great communication with host. The grounds are super quiet and relaxing. The sunrise is breathtaking. Lots of dolphins playing in water. Pool is older but spotless and perfect temp. What you see on the listing is exactly what you get
