Nestled on 10 serene acres just 14 minutes from Fairplay, our mountain retreat combines remote charm with modern comfort. Enjoy breathtaking views from the wrap-around deck or relax in the luxurious master suite featuring a sleep number bed. The chef's kitchen boasts inspiring vistas. Boot warmers, ski storage, and snowshoes prepare you for adventure. Kids and adults alike will love the game loft, and pets are pampered too. Only 42 minutes to Breckenridge, nature and luxury await!


Our customer service team is here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival and self check-out upon departure. Our customer support team is available 24/7/365 via chat and phone.

Once a week, we will enter the garage to take the trash from the bins. We will NOT enter the home. This day may or may not fall during your stay.

ENTRY LEVEL:
Enter through a smart lock to our two-car heated garage, with dedicated ski and snowboard storage. We provide snowshoes for your adventure, but cannot guarantee fit for all sizes. Bring your own boots. Enter the mudroom to find boot warmers and ample space for your gear.

MAIN FLOOR:
On the central floor, discover the Primary Bedroom with ensuite, a spacious open-concept living and dining room, our chef’s kitchen, a half bathroom, and a laundry room. Oh, and did we mention heated floors throughout?

PRIMARY SUITE:
The ultimate place to relax after your adventure. Enjoy the hammock outside your sliding door, watch a movie on the TV, get the perfect sleep in a customizable sleep number king bed. Indulge in the ensuite bathroom with a luxurious soaker tub surrounded by candles and bubble bath. The ensuite features a double sink vanity and a shower.

LIVNG, DINING, KITCHEN
Greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning mountain views, you will feel surrounded by the evergreens. A dining table and bar area offer seating for up to 10. The fully equipped kitchen awaits. Keurig coffee maker, tea, and cooking basics provided. The living room features a gas fireplace and a TV, and stepping outside leads to a wrap-around deck. The laundry room off the kitchen includes a washer dryer and various dog amenities. A half bathroom is also found off the kitchen.

PET AMENITIES:
In the laundry room open the doggy door to a dedicated dog run, allowing your dogs to go out without ever leaving the warmth of the cabin. Dogs return inside directly to the dog washing station. Dedicated pet towels, food and water bowls, leashes, poop bags, and several dog beds are provided. Just register and bring your furry friend!

THIRD FLOOR LOFT:
On the third floor, the loft game room welcomes you, offering an overlook of the floor below and stunning views through the windows. The game room features a checkerboard table and an air hockey table. Here, inflate a queen air mattress or unfold the yellow chairs for kid sleeping spaces. A hallway bathroom with a shower/tub combo is available. Off the loft, discover two bedrooms.

This charming mountain home has everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and hassle-free mountain retreat after a day of exploring the great outdoors. Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Rocky Mountains, you'll have an abundance of wildlife right outside your window.


***IMPORTANT***
For guests staying from late October through late April, AWD or 4WD vehicles are required. Our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.



This home is located on a rural road. From October--April, all guests must have 4-wheel drive/AWD to access the home. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed during the winter months, but most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. The road is steep in places and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!

The home requires the navigation of two sets of stairs from the garage entry to access the main level. This property is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues.

Please remember that you’re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP.

$100 fee per dog, maximum two dogs only. Sorry, no cats permitted.

Please note that smoking of any kind is forbidden inside AND outside the home and will result in a minimum fine of $650.

For added security, we have cameras on the outside of the property. There are absolutely no cameras inside the home.

The house sits at roughly 10,000 ft elevation and cell service may be spotty in the mountains. To ensure that you have access to important information, it is best to have a screenshot or printout of your check-in instructions and directions to the property.

During Summer -The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened. This is common in the mountains as AC is rarely needed.

During Winter - During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck, and on walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.

Beautiful house in a nice setting

My husband and I loved our stay! The house was comfortable and it was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The wrap around deck was awesome. The house backs up to forest, so you have a feeling of solitude. There is a house being constructed nearby, which was the only negative part of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Getaway

My husband and I got married on the property with our closest friends and family! We were a little nervous booking because we’ve been burned before with other VRBO listings. Not here! Everything was exactly as described and pictured. The amenities were absolutely amazing! This is one of the nicest properties we’ve booked. Communication was seamless and the management was so easy to work with and helpful. We are so grateful that we were able to make our wedding day happen here and so grateful our family and friends were able to enjoy it with us!

Great property, able to just walk out the door and up the mountain to Gemini Peak - saw Moose, Deer, Elk and “remnants of bear” - just a great property and the whole process was first rate. Road up to is a little rough, just be prepared and you will be fine - kitchen had everything we needed to cook up some meals and the whole house seemed well suited for what ever you came for

Great!!

This cabin is BEAUTIFUL, we loved the windows facing the peak and how quiet everything is. Very accommodating to dogs and was great to have the pups tag along. Everything was really easy to understand and was so comfortable and relaxing. The bathtub is a MUST. Did some snowshoeing up to the peak and wow! Talk about a view. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Mountain house getaway

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while in Colorado. House really feels like a home and has everything you can possibly need, whether it’s a fully equipped kitchen, snow shoes, enclosed heated garage, fireplace, 3 toilets 2 showers, laundry needs and even a blender if you feel like a smoothie. Owners have put a lot of effort and thought into making the house functional, cosy and unique. Loved the old skiing style furniture, it was also super quiet with the local squirrel coming to say hello in the morning. Will be back, thank you guys
