Cute place good amenities and good location however the mattresses were terrible- you could feel the springs! The AC, which was only in the living area , didn’t really do anything and the 2 electric fans which were provided for the 2 bedrooms didn’t help much with the June heat. Would not reccomend this place in the hot weather months unless they install central air and upgrade the mattresses. Two sets of keys would have been better for 5 people.

Fantastic apartment - close to the city & key attractions

A really lovely apartment. Old but stylish, beautifully furnished, and very clean. Most things we wanted to see were within walking distance. Comfortably accommodated our family of six.

The host who met us at the Borgo Art apartment was friendly and very helpful right down to getting a cutting board for the kitchen brought to us that same day. There were a few lights not working and he told us how to contact the management company about that. Mmega responded to our text promptly and fixed the bathroom light. The apartment is beautiful and spacious and the location fantastic. We would definitely stay here again!

Walkable Florence

Very pleased generally with the accommodations but a few little improvements could go a long way: lighter or matches for the gas stove, more than 1-2 hangers for clothes in each closet, additional pillows, an extra set of keys for 5 guests…..

Great central location

We had a great time in Firenze! The Borgo Art Apt is within walking distance to many attractions and is very easy to navigate. The only negatives are that the AC is only in the living room but the host was more than happy to supply fans which helped a lot. Also, the kitchen and hallway the lights either don’t have lights or the light bulbs need to be changed. But all in all we had a great time!

Before booking this apartment, I was told it is on the first floor. In fact, it is on the third floor from the ground; 5 separate tums on the staircase.We were advised that we should inform the agent of our arrival in Florence and that we would be met at the apartment within 10 minutes of arrival. We texted the agent our arrival time in advance and, upon arrival, texted and texted again when we were in the cab.In fact, upon our arrival at the apartment, the agent had not yet contacted the owners agent who first had to acquire the key. We waited on the street corner for close to 30 minutes.It was stifling hot and the air conditioner in the living room was not only off, but was not working. There was no air-conditioning in either of the two bedrooms. Additionally, a number of the lights were not working. We later discovered that there is a leak under one of the sinks in the master bath. There was a plastic container under the leak that was almost full to overflowing! The sink was unusable. Also, the bar which holds up the shower curtain fin the master bath is too short and falls down.The refrigerator has no working freezer. And numerous lights are either inoperable or cannot be plugged in.The apartment is a lovely apartment, but it is not fit for B&B in its current condition. We told the owner that we wanted to cancel the reservation and book a hotel. We were told there was no cancellation policy and no money would be refunded.
