We’re thrilled to offer you full access to the house and the private dock for your enjoyment. However, please keep in mind that the boat lift, garage, and three owner’s closets are restricted areas.

Additionally, the boat and jet ski parked by the dock are not available for guest use. We appreciate your understanding!

Our home is located in a peaceful and scenic neighborhood, perfect for those looking to relax and enjoy nature. The area offers easy access to the Catawba River, where you can enjoy outdoor activities like fishing and kayaking. Just a short drive away, you’ll find the Lancaster Shopping Center with a variety of shops and dining options, including a Walmart Supercenter, Belk, Home Depot, and Applebee’s. For a taste of local dining, the Wagon Wheel Restaurant is only 5 minutes away, offering delicious American cuisine in a cozy setting. 

The neighborhood is tranquil and ideal for a serene getaway, yet conveniently close to amenities and attractions. Whether you’re here for a peaceful retreat or to explore the local area, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. The area is easy to navigate by car, with well-maintained roads and clear signage. 

Parking is available on-site, with spaces in front and on the side of the house. 

Please note that you are required to sign the liability waiver within 48 hours of booking. 

                             Liability Waiver and Assumption of Risk Property 

By making a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this liability waiver:

1. Assumption of Risk: You and anyone using the vacation rental during your stay accept and assume all risks involved in or related to the use of the vacation rental and surrounding property, including but not limited to the dock, lake, kayaks, and any other water-related activities. This includes risks associated with all amenities and features on the property, both disclosed and undisclosed in the listing. 

2. Water Activities: Swimming, kayaking, and any other water-related activities are at your own risk. You understand that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to bodily injury, drowning, and other hazards. You accept full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur and agree to hold the owner harmless. 

3. Supervision of Children: Special risks are involved with the presence of children near the water. You agree to carefully supervise children at all times. The owner is not responsible for any injuries or accidents involving children.

4. Health and Safety: You acknowledge that participating in water activities, hiking, and other outdoor activities while having health risks, being intoxicated, using drugs or medication, or while pregnant, presents additional dangers. You agree to be fully responsible for your own health and safety and that of your party.

5. Recreational Equipment: You accept and assume all risks involved in the use of any recreational equipment provided, including but not limited to kayaks, fishing rods, and other sports equipment. You are responsible for determining your fitness and ability to participate in any activities. 

6. Infectious Diseases: You understand that traveling and staying in a vacation rental property may increase the likelihood of contracting infectious diseases, such as COVID-19. You voluntarily assume all such risks. 

7. Indemnity and Hold Harmless: To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, you knowingly, voluntarily, and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, of the activities described above. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the owner, host, co-host, cleaner, or any staff for accidents or claims arising from your stay. You hold the owner and associated parties harmless against any and all claims, damages, or causes of action for damages arising from injury to persons or property, or loss of life sustained in or about the lakehouse by any person or persons whatsoever. 

8. Property Damage: You agree to be responsible for any damage to the property or amenities caused by you or any guests in your party. This includes but is not limited to damage to the dock, recreational equipment, and furnishings.

9. Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations during your stay. Any illegal activity will result in immediate termination of your stay and potential legal action. 

10. Binding Agreement: By signing this waiver, you agree that you represent all guests in your party, including both adults and children. You acknowledge that this waiver constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between you and the owner. 

11. Alcohol Consumption and Liability: Guests are responsible for the behavior of anyone consuming alcohol on the property. The owner is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from alcohol use. Guests agree to handle any incidents caused by intoxicated individuals and will indemnify the owner against related claims. 

12. Guests who choose to use the hot tub do so at their own risk. The homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or health conditions that may result from hot tub use, including but not limited to slipping, overheating, skin irritation, or medical complications.Guests are expected to follow all posted safety instructions and supervise children at all times. No glassware, intoxication, or horseplay is permitted in or around the hot tub.

Kitchen was nice. Large area and all the amenities. If you were doing something major like thanksgiving roasts you might want to bring some favorite pans. However for easy lazy vacation cooking more than adequate The house set up was great. My almost teen enjoyed the privacy of the basement and the 8 year old was happy with her own room up near the master. The dock area was really nice for fishing and we enjoyed the fire pit with provided wood as well

Wonderful Stay

Great place to stay! We enjoyed the closeness to the lake and fishing off the dock and having a place to dock out boat and go onAnd off the lake easily. Host was very responsive to whatever was needed! Great kitchen and plenty of room for a family of 9

Great Family Break

This was the perfect place for a family vacation. Perfect mix of activities and relaxation. The house is very welcoming and comfortable. The views are amazing. We took advantage of everything the house had to offer (kayaks, fishingn fire pit, karaoke...and more).
