Nice place near the beach

Great value and experience overall

Could have been a little cleaner and needs a little updating but you can’t beat the price and it was pretty clean overall especially for a high volume rental. Owner was very friendly and helpful giving us lots of recommendations on activities and restaurants! Very responsive to messages. I recommend staying here if you’re on a budget and still want to be close to everything.

NOT A 3bd
Posted Jun. 25, 2022 on HomeAwayThis place is NOT a 3bd. The supposed 3rd bedroom is a closet with a bunk, no window, no ac, no air if door is closed. We left right away. Emailed the owner regarding false advertisement, never heard from him and it’s been a few days.

We love renting and have never had a single person who read the description of the tiny little bunk room, then got upset that it is small. This was the first one! The house has the beds exactly as explained, 6 beds, plus a pull out couch, but it is a smaller 2 story townhouse. We have rented the home to 100+ bookings and have a picture of the exact room on the listing. According to neighbors who saw, they showed up as a large group (appeared to be more than they booked for) and sent us a message almost 5 hours later saying they left, and were quite aggressive, requesting a full refund. They had not told us of any concern before this, and gave no option to work with them. Because they didn't officially cancel in app, since VRBO has rules regarding it, I had no way to relist or book anyone else. In responding that the listing is as described, they decided to give this review (choosing not to respond to us). They gave no option to have a conversation to further discuss what we could do.
I hope to future renters, you will know we appreciate all our customers.

Just not what you expect

roaches DON'T BOOK HERE
Posted May 24, 2022 on HomeAwayplace was not as I expected, if you plan on booking DON'T the place was filled with roaches was not a clean place as soon as light go off roaches sure came out, left place early kids felt uncomfortable also the bed sheets were dirty the dryer didn't work and the list goes on he didn't hire a cleaning person like he claimed he did, when I told him about the roach traps I found under pull out coach said cleaning lady placed them funny thing we arrived early and he was the one who was cleaning there is NO CLEANING LADY he is the one who does the cleaning and he didn't do a good job funny you pay a cleaning fee and yet it wasn't clean. we had to store all our food in fridge because of the roaches .

Home had not been cleaned
Posted Jan. 17, 2022 on HomeAwayHome was dirty. Had to be cleaned. Dirty dishes in dishwasher and when ran it flooded kitchen floor. Stove and oven disgusting. BBQ grill had mold and fungus all over it. Bathrooms had to be cleaned. There were towels and 2 washcloths. Hot water heater had to be reset several times. Oh and did I mention roaches??
I am still waiting on a refund for cleaning fee. I guess she never told her husband. Backyard looked like a jungle. It would be a nice place if they would put money in it to improve. Like shower runs more water out of faucet than they shower. Did I mention bugs?

We love renting. We have multiple properties in the area and we have rented successfully for years and find joy in helping renters have a good experience. We are happy to give advice for activities, private beach areas, etc. This renter used liquid dishwashing soap in the dishwasher, not the PODs and flooded the floor. They also damaged couches with animals. We chose to turn the other cheek, never posted a negative review of them, nor charged for damages. I am just now seeing this review, sadly. To future renters, we do our best to provide a good experience with a relatively good price for a home with this many beds. Please come enjoy.
