avoid annoying noises and noise:

Gallipoli overlooks the Ionian Sea, on the western coast of the Salento Peninsula. The city of Gallipoli is divided into two parts, the “Village” and the Historical Center.

The village is the most recent part of the city, built on a peninsula that juts out into the Ionian Sea to the west, which includes all the new buildings, such as the glass building.



The Historical Center, on the other hand, is located on an island of calcareous origin, connected to the mainland through a seventeenth-century arched bridge. Of great historical and naturalistic importance is the Island of Sant'Andrea, about a mile off the coast of the historic center.
