Michael was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of when we had questions about the cabin. The place was nice and clean. It even came with some games and a great selection of DVDs for our little one to enjoy. Would definitely book with Michael again.!

Great home away from home!

Host was very nice and accommodating. Communication was great all throughout our stay. Lovely quiet location. I definitely recommend staying here.

I was staying here while I worked in area, was under the impression the property was in Gimli but it is actually in Husavic. The tap water smells like sewage, I mentioned it to the property owner who seemed to ignore the issue. When he communicated he expected a prompt response from me, however since I was there for work it wasn't possible and he then threatened to to come inspect the property while I was still staying there. I wasn't there to chitchat with the owner. The internet is wireless but not what I expected it to be, it is a cellular based tablet. No WiFi.

We spoke with Vrbo and Lamont immediately after his complaint about the pin location being wrong. We also let him know that it was an issue that is completely out of our hands and Vrbo themselves still tell us the pin is correct. We're new on Vrbo and experiencing a lot of technical issues with the platform. Regarding the water, we are on a well which is mentioned in the house rules. For guests that do not like to drink well water we always leave a jug of fresh Kangen water. Although sometimes it has a smell to those not used to well water it does not smell like sewage and is actually some of the best water around as we have an artisan well so we don't believe comparing it to sewage is fair. We open our homes to people and as hosts we like to make sure our guests had a smooth check in or just to see if they need anything. We never expect a prompt or immediate response and understand a response will sometimes take time but Lamont refused to answer at all for days. Finally after not hearing from him at all I messaged him saying due to no response we'd better come out and check in on him. We got a reply immediately after that message. We gave Lamont a much better rating than he deserved as communication was terrible and the house was left a mess but after talking about his complaints with him we felt everything was ok but were very surprised with his review for us. Remember hosts, be honest and truthful with your reviews even if they are not very good. Lesson learned.
