Maryhill Loops Road was completed in 1913 and was the result of Sam Hill's advocacy for modern roads being built in the Northwest. 

The road is 10 miles long, has 25 curves (8 of them hairpin), an elevation gain of 850 ft. and a 5% grade. 

Pedestrians and bikers can use the road most days 7 am to 5 pm. A couple of times a year the road is open to vehicles.
