From La Tejita, it’s a short drive to nearby gems like El Médano, Los Abrigos, and Golf del Sur, known for their relaxed atmospheres, seaside dining, and local charm.



The nearby TF-1 motorway provides quick and direct access to the island’s southern hotspots, including Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas, Siam Park, and Aqualand Costa Adeje. Nature lovers can easily reach Teide National Park, while family-friendly day trips to Loro Parque or Santa Cruz are also within reach.

Getting to La Tejita from Tenerife South Airport (TFS) is simple and convenient, with a range of transport options to suit your travel style. The drive takes approximately 10–12 minutes, making arrival quick and hassle-free.



If you're renting a car, exit the airport and follow signs to the TF-1 motorway, heading east toward Santa Cruz. Take Exit 59 for San Isidro/El Médano, and follow the signs toward La Tejita and La Tejita Street Market. The Sotavento III complex is just a short drive from there, with scenic views of the coastline as you arrive.



Free street parking is typically available right next to the complex. If no spots are available immediately nearby, we recommend checking the surrounding area near La Tejita Street Market, just a few minutes’ walk away. There is also underground parking available at La Tejita Street Market for an additional fee, offering a secure and convenient alternative.



For those using public transportation, the journey is smooth and affordable. Take bus line 408 or 415 from the airport to San Isidro, then transfer to line 470 heading toward La Tejita/El Médano. The bus stops directly in front of the Sotavento III complex, just steps from the apartment—making it one of the most convenient options for non-drivers.



Taxis are available just outside the arrivals terminal. A ride to La Tejita typically takes 10–15 minutes and offers a direct, comfortable journey. You’ll be dropped off exactly where you request, whether at the main gate, the apartment entrance, or near La Tejita Street Market.



During your stay, the nearest taxi stop is located in front of La Tejita Street Market, just a short walk from the property. While a taxi may not always be waiting there, contact information is posted at the stand, allowing you to easily call for pickup if needed.



If you’ve pre-booked a private shuttle or airport transfer, your driver will meet you at the terminal and bring you straight to Sotavento III—a great option for families, groups, or those traveling with extra luggage.
