nice updates but needs more care to be 5 star

The check in process was easy and I loved all of the ladies I spoke to at the front desk. I would have given it 4-5 stars with the upgrades to the room, and cleanliness of the pool area. You can tell they are doing the upgrades right with more than just paint. However, Breakfast cuts off at 9am which seems too early for a Sat/Sun. I can agree to that but we arrived at 8:45 and nothing was getting refilled. So no cinnamon rolls, no pancakes or syrup, no forks! I wandered until I found someone who told me they would not be refilling. If the breakfast is only fully stocked until 8:30 then that should be the time listed. We also has several minor room issues. Our shade was outdated and wouldn't fully close so there was more light than preferred, no drapes at all and just plastic roll up shade, and then our toilet filled so slowly that we had to space out bathroom trips by 45 minutes or just fill the back of the tank ourselves with water, which we did.

Was not told before we got their that my room selection I payed for was under construction….very clean room and comfortable beds, conveniently located by restaurants and shopping…didn’t have a bathroom fan

It was clean and bright. They are remodeling, soon everything will be brand new, although not needed. Fantastic breakfast options. The staff were all helpful and very nice.

The employee working the breakfast room just kept talking to all the guests and let all the hot food run out and did not refill because she was to busy talking!! to the guests trying to eat. I left and went to a restaurant

Property was clean. Front desk people always sitting in back room. Help not always available. Decent breakfast. Nice pool area. We were stuck there in a snowstorm- no snowplow and staff didn’t shovel front walk- we did it for them. Staff didn’t know when plows would be coming. Seemed ambivalent to the situation with vehicles stuck in parking lot.

Property is in the process of an upgrade and we were able to use one of the updated rooms. Very nice.
