Wonderful wine country property

Amazing Place
Posted Apr. 10, 2024 on HomeAwayClare was absolutely a gem. She was very communicative and her place is even better than the ad. Super close to downtown and had plenty of space for 8 of us. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

Wonderful family time!
Posted Apr. 3, 2024 on HomeAwayThis is the only VRBO we’ve been to multiple times - it was our third visit and we will be back.
We keep coming back because we play games on that big table, make cookies for ice cream sandwiches in the wonderful kitchen, enjoy a leisurely morning on the couches with a peaceful treetop view and the dogs smile as they run in the yard.
The location is perfect- we enjoy taking advantage of the yummy restaurants and fun put put golf. But the home and yard is why we keep coming back. It rained half of our visit and we were perfectly happy and cozy.
Thank you Clare for sharing such a special place with us.

Will stay again
Posted Jan. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayClare was helpful and very flexible. The house was beautiful and clean. The instructions were clear. The location was great (short walk to town). I would give an extra star (total of 6) if I could because the hot tub was in excellent condition (not always the case in our experience)

Hidden gem for groups and pets
Posted Dec. 12, 2023 on HomeAwayClare is a gracious host who offers an amazing home for people and pets! We were pleasantly suprised at the accomadations during our holiday get away and it was truly refreshing to find an offering where we could bring our 2 large dogs in such a nice home, lots of care and love has gone into maintaining this property.
The location is great as its located on a quiet street yet its just a short walk to town where you can find some wonderful restaurants and shops. You are also just a short scenic drive to many wineries which we particularly loved. We would highly recomend this hos and home and will hopefully be planning trips in the future!

Fantastic Find

Town, just a short walk over the bridge. Peewee golf place wasn’t open nor did it look like it had been for years. Very run down. The redwood park was stunning and we enjoyed many walks there. Our walk through town was fun and although we were there during off season many merchants were open. We will definitely return to this wonderful place. The property manager was amazing and always responded so quickly. Thanks you gain for the wonderful stay.

River Relaxation
Posted Oct. 31, 2023 on HomeAwayThis was our second time at this location and we had a great time again! The location is spot on. About a 5-10 minute walk to downtown Guerneville. The area is quiet, the house is large and open so everyone can gather together in the main room/kitchen. Lots of games supplied by the host, Clare, who is very easy to contact and responds quickly. Looking forward to next time!

Fantastic in Guerneville
Posted Oct. 21, 2023 on HomeAwayThis is one of the best rental accommodations our annual cycling group of 6 have stayed in. Everything was pretty much perfect: clean, well-kept; extremely well equipped and provisioned, great location and reasonably priced. We would all recommend it to others, and plan to stay annually from now on (we've been searching each year for a "keeper" in this area and have not had any luck until now).
One constructive criticism: I think Clare's instructions are just a little too granular. There's a lot to read in the manual, and if you aren't a bunch of lawyers, as we are, you'd probably give up for the details. There's a nice little adage in our line of work: too much information is little different from not enough information -- neither get you to the result you want. We'd recommend some editing. But that's us being nitpicky!

Thank-you for choosing Vista Serena and that is a wonderful review including your plans to make Vista Serena part of your annual cycling trip. Can not beat the location for close but private. It is a great get together home with it's open layout and furnished it for easy conversation. Thank you for noticing how well equipped because that was done on purpose if you choose to self help vs restaurants.
You were great guests and look forward to your return.
I am very detailed person and on my VRBO site too. My goal is to explain to the best of my abilities so folks can choose wisely. I hope all surprises are good surprises when they get to the home.
I started out with far less but added throughout the years based on the texts and calls I received. I appreciate your input and will take a look to see what I can eliminate.

Sister time
Posted Oct. 3, 2023 on HomeAwayI recently stayed at Vista Serena with my sister and her daughters. It was a great place to reconnect with family. The house has everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, deck, grill and hot tub. Location is superb, close to downtown, and all that Guerneville offers. If you are planning a trip to the Russian River Valley, I highly recommend Vista Serena.
