Pedestrian 4-star hotel!

The hotel is ideally situated near the Grote Markt and near all the attractions. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. We were aware that there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room, but a 4-star hotel should have one! The breakfast was rather disappointing - no fruit salad, but a few grapes and a few slices of melon. There were no saucers at breakfast and no big spoons. But the greatest disappointment was the staff. The blonde woan at reception was brief and quite snooty. I don’t want the tobe all over us, but soeties we wouldgreet them and the blond would pretend not to hear us. Never ever smiled or made us feel welcome?! The breakfast staff on the other hand were friendly and engaged one in conversation.

The bed is comfortable. The location is quiet. A/C is quiet. The bathroom is modernized. The room is spacious. Negatives: decor is basic and dated. I disliked the carpet in the room. The bath robes are old and scratchy. No coffee machine in room.
