Beautiful quirky property
Posted Sep. 20, 2020 on HomeAwayBit musty when we arrived but still a beautiful, quirky property (little rough around the edges but so are we) and lovely well maintained grounds. Super comfy bed. Our visit was originally to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday but I ended up proposing so we would definitely consider Pekes as a wedding destination

Charming, somewhat misleading
Posted Nov. 10, 2019 on HomeAwayCharming property, great views, lots of character. Not exactly as advertised: there is 1, not 2 bedrooms, and the beds are small and certainly no "superking". Overall the property could do with a bit of a refresh.

We are pleased that Frederik's party enjoyed their stay in The Wing.
Apologies for the 'misleading information. We recently replaced the double bed in there for a much more comfortable but slightly small new one, King size, and forgot to update the details on the site. Now done.
We have a problem conveying the sleeping arrangements in the Wing; there is indeed only 1 actual bedroom, the remainder of the beds are in a 'sleeping area', which we have to call something, hence Bedroom 2.
Again apologies for these misunderstandings.

A hidden gem
Posted Aug. 22, 2019 on HomeAwayWe had a lovely relaxing time staying here, the gardens are beautifully kept. The kids had so much fun in the pool, there was plenty to do and such a peaceful setting. We’ll definitely be coming back.

How nice to read this. Amanda and her friend and kids were a great pleasure to meet, and it was lovely seeing them enjoying themselves. They left our house in excellent condition, and will always be welcome back at Pekes.

Great houses
Posted May 11, 2019 on HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the houses are great, the gardens very well kept, the swimming pool warm and lovely as it’s like a conservatory full of plants, the owner was very flexible concerning a change of the house as we wanted more space. Perfect holiday. Thank you
