Westin Hamburg September 2023
Posted Oct. 4, 2023 on HotelsFantastic hotel, great location at the concert hall and wonderful views of Hamburg. Just a couple of ‘even better if’ items:
- It’s too easy to select the Wi-Fi option you have to pay for, so much so nearly everyone does it. They don’t quibble but it’s an unnecessary conversation with reception.
- Like a lot of other places I have stayed recently, they assume you have used the mini-bar, even if you haven’t. Maybe because they provide complementary water.
- Basically, don’t do express check-out, go to reception and check your folio.
- One evening we went to the hotel bar and wanted to order some cakes, but apparently the chef had packed them away. We ordered cheese and biscuits instead but the portion was tiny!

Unfortunately, we developed COVID prior to coming, so had to stay in the room a lot. The great news is that the views were incredible and hotel and staff were very accommodating. Overall, this hotel is amazing.

Wonderful five night stay at the The Westin Hamburg. From A to Z everything was excellent. Small room issue quickly resolved by a friendly staff.
