Bad matteress, dangerous plug socket

As a whole the hotel was okay it was clean and tidy. However I stayed for 3 nights and could barley sleep the matteress was well and truly destroyed the springs dug in and you sank straight to the divan base. One of the plug sockets was broken and didn't hold the plug in making it spark when you plug something in. The shower head was full of limescale and there was no towel rack.

Here at Days Inn we like to prioritise the safety and comfort for all guests, and taking your feedback into consideration, we did investigate this matter. I can only apologise again for the discomfort you had with the mattress in your room and we have now reported this to avoid further issues. There is always a member of our team available to help you in matters of any issues or needing a room change. As for the plug sockets, we had our maintenance team investigate this and no issues or damages to the sockets were found. Our team understand and value the cleanliness of our hotel, and hygiene is our top priority, our showers and bathrooms as a whole are cleaned after every guest and due to the water in Scotland being soft, limescale build up is very minimal. Although there were no issues or concerns regarding your room brought to our team's attention during your stay, If you would like to talk further regarding any issues about your stay, please feel free to myself or our hotel directly. Yet another nice stay

For a budget hotel this accommodation is value for money staff are always friendly and polite and will go the extra mile

No frills comfort

Stayed in a family room when we needed a stopover near Glasgow at short notice. The hotel is no frills, but the room was warm, the beds were comfortable, the wifi was free and the staff were friendly. The decor was tired and other than the service station there is no catering available. This is perfect if you want a basic, comfortable place to stay. You get what you pay for. Would book again

I’ve stayed in bad hotels but this beats them all.

Staff were friendly but hotel was very poor. The place is completely run down and dirty. Green slime growing around headboard. Black mould in bathroom. Toilet doesn’t flush properly. Sink surround damaged and dirty. Desk surface was sticky, I dread to think with what. No food available in hotel at all, I was directed to McDonalds next door or Costa (which closes at 6:00pm). Next morning when I was leaving, reception was shuttered so nobody to give feedback to. Very poor hotel. Better to sleep in your car.

I would like to apologise on behalf of the hotel that your stay didn't here did not meet your expectations. Hygiene is at the upmost importance here for all guests and staff alike, and with saying this, we do encourage any guests with immediate concerns to report these to a member of our team to help rectify the issue at hand or offer another room for the comfort and satisfaction of whomever may need it. Although you failed to contact our staff during or after your stay at the days inn. Our manager has looked into these concerns you have raised in this review and we do apologise again that our rooms do hold there original designs and décor as we are in line for a new refurbishment, with our rooms being remodelled with new furnishings. As for our catering services, unfortunately we cannot offer such services within the hotel, but we do offer a 24hr McDonalds and WHSmith along side a Costa café and drive through. If you would like to speak further please feel free to contact a member of our reception team who are available at any hour of the day. Any further information regarding your stay and the hotel guest information can be found on the emails sent pre and post stay at Wyndham hotels.
