The hotel is dated. The pool was not useable as very cold.tge board on the wall showed pool hadn't been checked in a couple iif days.Internet is going to be updated eventually. Breakfast was great!

Simple stay

Positive: The room was a great size, nice and simple. It was clean. The lotion and soaps were convenient and smelled great. Negative: Was not able to open the blind which made the room always dark. The bathroom sink had a big crack in it.

This was our 4th stay here on our way south to warmer climates. Always clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast is a good feature. We usually try to stay at Hampton Inns when we travel.

My only complaint was that the door is extremely heavy. It was a handicapped room and no one who was alone in a wheelchair would be able to open the door without assistance. Also the curtains were askew and unable to be opened. I was told that they were “waiting for a part” and to allow the time to have that happen.

Great stop on a longer trip- the front desk clerk, Christian, was particularly helpful. Poor guy had to wield a plunger for us and recommended dining options with an equally cheerful and polite attitude. He seems to really enjoy his job. Handicap room was outfitted with the usual amenities and fully met our needs.

Gym needs attention

While the hotel was okay, the gym had a strong smell, like humidity and mold so I did not use it because I did not want to risk getting sick
