"We had the unfortunate luck of starting our vacation right when hatteras was being evacuated for hurricane Erin. Sergey was an excellent host, communicating with us the whole time and arranging alternate plans on the fly as no one knew when the island would reopen. Not only was he an incredibly flexible host, his home is wonderfully done to accommodate a family or small group and the location is in an ideal spot within Avon. We will be rebooking this property again for next year and hope we can stay the full time then! "

"Tidy place...great location...be aware there are no elevators at this property and lots of steps. The bed in the master bedroom for us was very uncomfortable. Very hard mattress. Needs a new one or a topper. "
