Friendly staff at check in and very clean rooms! Good breakfast for additional charge- coffee was not so good! 😊 When we asked for extra pillows we were surprised with size! We were very happy! This hotel is right in the middle of the town square and walking distance to everything. It is a perfect example of historical elegance and was the perfect choice for our stay. Loved everything about it.

Amazing location, undergoing renovations.

The location of Hotel Zum Ritter was amazing, the very best in old town Heidelberg!! The price was also good so we were able to look past the shortcomings because it was undergoing renovations and was still not 100% in their accommodations. Staff was minimal but the staff who were there were great. Room could have been cleaner and better prepared for our arrival (hair on the bathroom floor and an empty tissue box). Overall, a very good experience for us though!

The property lived up to our memories of our first stay there in 1981. However there was no provision or information about parking, the restaurant was closed and the morning we left they didn't provide breakfast.

The beds are extremely comfortable. The Wi-Fi and tv are sub-par, but we didn't stay at the beautiful and historical Ritter for the tv. The location, views, staff, breakfast, and surrounding dinner options are outstanding.
