Overall, it is a good hotel and well located. However, the breakfast room was very crowded and it was difficult to find a free table. The room we were given was accessible through the patio, which is not very convenient on a cold morning. Besides that, there was no warm water in the morning. The staff is otherwise friendly, but in the reception they could improve how they address and communicate with costumers. For example, when checking-out they did not inquire whether our experience was positive…

Attached to the main train station, this hotel is very convenient, not too expensive, with a great breakfast buffet. Clean, quiet. Wish the restaurant was open on Sundays..our train was late (8:15pm) and there was nothing to eat.

Nice hotel and central location

Great location, nice and clean room, breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of variety. Would recommend and I would stay at this hotel again if visiting Helsinki in the future.

Scanic Grand Central Helsinki is a beautiful hotel. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice 😊 The rooms are super comfy and lovely. The hotel is in a great position for the excellent Finnish public transport to get and about. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is perfect for a relaxing vacation especially coming from North America. My husband and I love everything about it, let alone the services provided and the strategic location as it's very close to shopping, dining facilities and other points of interest. Right next to train station. Very clean. Within walking distance of everywhere. Breakfast was buffet and ample of food. Lots of seating areas. Comfy beds, loved it. Downside.... Was disabled and the disability rooms are a long way from the reception.

Really cool but not for young family

The hotel is very well located, very beautiful, cool, the staff all smiling and very nice But this is not for family with young children. This is really an hotel for couple and business. There is nothing to do for family there if its raining or in the evening before bedtime. The family room is the same size as the other but when they are opening the sofa bed there is no more place in the room to move.
