MyStay at 4 Slack Tide | Private Indoor Pool, Lagoon Views & Game Room

Imagine waking up to the gentle shimmer of a lagoon, sipping coffee as the morning sun dances on the water, and knowing that your only task for the day is to relax. Welcome to 4 Slack Tide—a private sanctuary in Palmetto Dunes, where luxury meets laid-back island vibes. This stunning retreat isn’t just a vacation rental; it’s the key to an unforgettable Hilton Head escape.

Step inside this beautifully renovated home and let the stress of the real world melt away. With over 4,200 square feet of thoughtfully designed living space, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, yet the cozy ambiance makes it feel like home. The showstopper? Your very own indoor pool. Whether it`s a rainy day or a sunny afternoon, the fun never stops. Slide open the glass doors and step onto the expansive deck overlooking the serene 11-mile lagoon. Fire up the grill, sip a cocktail, and soak in the view—you’re officially on island time.

The first floor features a chef’s kitchen stocked with all the essentials (yes, even a blender for those vacation margaritas), a spacious dining area, and a dedicated workspace for those who might have to check an email or two. The primary suite boasts a king bed, spa-like en suite bath with a soaking tub, and lagoon views that might just tempt you to sleep in a little longer. Another first-floor bedroom offers two plush queen beds and a private bath.

Venture upstairs and you’ll find two additional king suites, each with its own bathroom, plus a lounge area designed for peak family bonding. A poker table, a massive TV, and comfy seating make it the perfect spot for game nights, movie marathons, or letting the kids entertain themselves while parents enjoy some well-earned peace and quiet.

And then there’s the location. Nestled in the heart of Palmetto Dunes, you’re just a short bike ride to the beach and surrounded by world-class amenities. Tee off at one of three championship golf courses, rated among the best by Golf Digest. Explore more than 200 miles of biking and walking trails, or rent a kayak to glide through the lagoon. Love a little competition? The Palmetto Dunes Tennis & Pickleball Center has you covered. And with the Palmetto Dunes General Store within the resort, it`s perfect for quick re-stocking of food and supplies and even has a food counter serving southern comfort food Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

After a day of adventure, return to your private retreat, slip into crisp, high-quality MyStay linens, and drift off to the sounds of island serenity. This property is so well laid out for a large family to have both adequate privacy and also tons of communal spaces. Aside from the large spacious bedrooms with nice ensuite bathrooms, there is also so many sitting areas that are large enough to accommodate everyone or allow for people to grab some privacy and read or work etc. The home was so well stocked with everything you need for cooking, showering, the beach, local recommendations, etc. The management company really did an A job. We could not have been happier with the place. Thanks again!!!

Amazing location and house

Amazing property! Location is superb, neighborhood is wonderful, easy access to beaches love the modern kitchen. Couple small things could be addressed (nails on deck need to be hammered down, a few bugs in pool area) but nothing that would keep us away from rebooking for next year!

Fantastic!!!

We loved staying at this property with our family! It was so spacious and clean. They provided everything we needed for our family. It was rainy and a little chilly during our stay and the indoor heated pool was wonderful. Our kids loved it and swam 2 times a day. We fished off the dock and caught some blue crabs. They even provided bikes for us to ride around the area.

Slack Tide fun and sun

This property is FABULOUS! Lots of room and great lay out to offer each family privacy, yet bring us all together for meals, games, and swimming. Having the pool “inside” was soooo great- especially in the July heat and sun! The grandchildren were in the pool several times a day just loving life. The beach was beautiful and very close. Take the “Dune Buggy” around the area and to Shelter Cove. The house has everything you may need in the kitchen for meal prep. The beach towels were a nice plus. I can’t say enough about this house for a family vacation. The neighborhood was quiet and close to the north gate. Check in was easy and Host to Coast was very responsive. We had 6 adults and 3 children. We will be back to this perfect getaway!

Wonderful Vacation Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 4 Slack Tide was an oasis for our vacation. We shared the home with another family and we had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The beds we’re comfortable, even the upstairs sleeper sofa got a thumbs up. The furnishings and decor were beautiful. The location felt very private on a cul-de-sac and was peacefully quiet. The neighborhood is just breathtaking to drive through. It was close to the beach and all we had to do was call for a shuttle to get there and it was one of the best beaches we have been to. The nature scene around the home was so relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the deck morning and night and even enjoyed s’mores after dinner one evening at the fire pit. The indoor pool was a fun extra the kids really enjoyed. Being only an hour from Savannah, GA, we made a day trip to explore the beautiful city of Savannah. We would absolutely stay at this property again and have nothing but compliments on our stay. Thank you to the home owners for sharing this special property with others.

I Can’t Say Enough Great Things About This Place . ..

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This owner paid attention to quality and detail. Everything about this house was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked, ample small appliances (crock pot, ninja blender, air fryer, Keurig, drip coffee maker, etc.), quality pots and pans, quality silverware, ample plates, bowls, cutting boards, all sorts of kitchen utensils, hand soap pump dispensers in every bathroom, plenty of trash bags, grocery stores nearby, Smart TVs in all bedrooms and in multiple living/sitting rooms, a beverage center in upstairs living room, ample blankets, plenty of beach towels, numerous clothes hangers, 4 bikes (numerous bike/walking paths), corn hole, ping pong, nice deck (with a grill and plenty of chairs/table) that walks down by a fire pit area then down to a dock on a waterway with a paddle boat, and of course a heated pool. It is a safe residential neighborhood. I can’t say enough good things about this place and a big thank you to the property owner(s). Property management was very kind and responsive. Highly recommend. Hudsons Seafood House on the Dock is a great casual restaurant ($$), family owned and excellent service.

Great Hilton Head House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay @ 4 Slack Tide! It was very private, quiet & serene w/ a beautiful view of the lagoon right in the back yard! The kitchen was very well stocked. We loved all 3 living spaces to spread out, yet the entire house was very open. The upstairs living space was a perfect space for the kids to play games, sleep on the pullout sofa and watch tv. When the kids weren't doing that they were in the awesome indoor pool. We could be inside relaxing or cooking and still keep an eye on them in the pool...which was a huge plus for us! We loved the ping pong table and the cornhole set as well. The location of the house to the beach was an easy bike ride to the closest beach access. Even our youngest kid on training wheels & our kid who just learned to ride a bike w/o training wheels while we were there(the culdesac was great for that) could make the ride w/ ease! Having accdess to the paddle boat to explore the lagoon was a lot of fun as well. I recommend this house a thousand times over! Our family had a great time here! Thank you! The Dover Family

The house was fantastic. The hosts were very responsive. We had no issues getting into the place. It was very clean and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space to move around, giving the children a way to use their imaginations and create hours of entertainment for themselves. It was very peaceful and relaxing. It was surrounded by nature, with squirrels jumping between trees and even deer walking in the yard. Access to the beach was as easy as calling the Dune's Buggy to come pick you up, but you could also enjoy a long walk or bike ride under the canopy of trees, which provided ample shade to keep the sun at bay until you reached the beach. You have everything you need for cooking and cleaning. The washer and dryer keep us from having to pack so much. The indoor pool was great, though if there’s one thing I wish we had done, it was to ask for it to be heated. Even though it was late June, it was still a little chilly in the pool. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.
