Iâve rented many properties in Shipyard, and this one rates at the bottom. The photos and description don't match what we found.We did pass along a list of items to be addressed and management has promised to do so (lights not working, missing pillow sham, loose flushing mechanism). It is in poor condition and needs deep cleaning and painting. The master bedroom window is so filthy you cannot see out of it. The floor is warped and peeling up in some areas. The walls are dirty. The king mattress should be replaced soon. The upstairs bathroom (not the master) has crazy strong water pressure. An odd complaint, I know, but my adult children told me it borders on painful (so it would painful for younger children). The dishwasher lower rack is very difficult to use as you try to pull it out and push it in. Both racks are rusted and should be replaced.The vertical blinds downstairs were so problematic, we just didn't use them. We left them as we found them.Positives - the bathrooms are updated. Having two double beds in the "kid" room was nice. Management brought blankets when we asked for them. The amount of living room seating was great for movie nights. Housekeeping had done a good job with the overall cleanliness. Our issues were beyond normal housekeeping and management. We feel the owners need to address larger issues. This unit needs a great deal of TLC to be worth the rent. Also the exterior (HOA issue) is desperately in need of repair.
