Pool was closed and was expecting it to be open and wasn’t told it would not be open . Had to get clean sheets for bed

Heater was extremely loud, could not sleep comfortably. Water was not hot when being used. Hair dryer function was not on the hairdryer, it was broken off so it blew only cold air. We were near the elevator and stairwell which seems to be a norm for some hotels when offering a room through Expedia.

I would absolutely avoid this hotel at all cost! We had a horrible experience the Hot tub was out of service, not hot water, dirty sheets and the "free breakfast" was completely empty by 8:30. When we got back to our room from a long day of hiking and exploring at around 4:30 - 5:00 our beds were stripped down to the mattress, no pillows, no sheets, no nothing and our room had not been cleaned. Never before have we ever seen this type of service and we're completely disappointed with our stay. I would recommend paying a little extra and looking more into the other hotels there are a lot to choose from.

I purposely booked a hotel with a pool because me and my two young kids planned to spend most of our time in the pool and then go out occasionally doing other fun things outside of the hotel and if they had told me at check in that the pool was down I would have went somewhere else. Instead every night they’d tell me it would be up and running by the morning and every morning they’d tell me it would be up again in the evening. I never saw anyone ever work on it and it was directly across from my room. So I had to take the kids to the rec centre multiple times when public swimming was (at bedtime) and pay extra money out of our trip that I shouldn’t have had to pay since I BOOKED A HOTEL WITH A POOL!!! It was the main thing my kids were looking forward to. We were there for 5 days and 4 nights with no pool. And I heard their reasons change twice. I’m so frustrated about it still we didn’t get a discount, didn’t get our bills from the rec centre reimbursed, Expedia wouldn’t do anything. It put a huge damper on our trip. However the hotel was nice and clean and the staff were soooo so so so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was okay. There was never any fruit and not a lot of healthy options, a waffle maker with no batter which was weird. If the pool was up and running it would have been a 10/10 stay. Or if they were just honest from the beginning and I could have gone somewhere else. Super disappointing

Upon arrival, we learnt that the hot-tub was out of service but otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast room was properly stocked and the food fresh.
