A lovely traditional hotel with personal service.
and very good situation in the centre of town. Nice quiet and very clean room. Excellent breakfast was included in the very reasonable price. I hope to stay again when I am in Inverness visiting family.
A lovely place, perfect service even better breakfast and a very caring supportive gentleman.

This is a family run property with owners who are very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were delicious. The property is older, located in the historic downtown area of Inverness, very convenient to the railway station, bus lines, tourist facilities and many nearby restaurants, including several with live music. Our room was large and had a very recently renovated bathroom, opening windows and comfortable beds. The only disadvantage was the lack of an elevator.

The breakfast was good but stale oatmeal cakes and solidified honey. Rooms and decor need an update!
We loved this quaint little hotel which is more like a bed and breakfast. The owner is very personable and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and made to order. You are within walking distance to the river, train station and the heart of Inverness. The room was very comfortable.
The MacDougall Clansman is a 5 minute walk from the bus or train station. A great feature if you don't have a car. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast is what you would expect. Everything from cereals and toast to a full fry-up. Coffee. Tea. Juice. For us it was the owner that made the deal. He greeted us upon arrival and did so with a smile that never waned. He was sincere in wanting us to have a great stay and did not disappoint. Going so far as setting up a breakfast option for us early in the morning before regular hours to accommodate our traveling schedule. Highly Recommended.
It was perfect for me.
I wanted a quiet relaxing stay, near city amenities. Also it was central but minutes from the river for a relaxing walk.
Maybe if you want more WiFi and business facilities you would be better off booking a chain hotel.
However, the owner did say they could help with urgent matters.
The area was great! It's walkable to a lot of locations, but the real star of our trip was the owner of the hotel - who truly was outstanding!! Made us feel welcome so welcomed! Breakfast (which was fantastic) was just an added bonus. I would stay here again!
A perfect, European-style hotel in a great location in Inverness. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and had a varied selection. We enjoyed what felt like an authentic experience in the city.
Really helpful owners who dealt with my need for early breakfast very efficiently and also checked about my travel arrangements
I would definitly stay again nice location in city centre and close to starion
Wonderful Scottish highland hospitality. Delicious hot breakfast! Location of this family run hotel is excellent for restaurants, shopping, enjoyment of walks along the River Ness.
Lovely hotel right in the heart of Inverness. The room has everything you need and was very comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and the ingredients were high quality - which seems to be a rarity these days! Stayed for two nights and would definitely return.

My time in Inverness
My whole expierance was grest from start to finsh. Staff were nice and friendly and breakfast was excellant including my eggs. Only downside is cleaner coming into my room without me beeing there in person or warning beforehand. Otherwise a good. Stayed overall.
Lovely property and superb host/owner. The only negative comment (,which is true for all Inverness), is the 24/7 screeching seagulls...they never sleep. The inclusive breakfast was fab and so close to the station and dining areas.
