Loved this place. Stayed totally out of season and the service was as good as if it was the full main season. Cosy warm room, wonderful food, friendly helpful staff. Will definitely return

Well locate and clean

Beautiful property and stunning location. Staff were amazingly attentive and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were nice. Our only gripe was the cleanliness - our bedding had quite a lot of glitter on and the floors in the room/bathroom had hair on. More generally, the carpets throughout the hotel, bar and breakfast room felt like they need to be renewed.

This hotel is very old but the rooms are updated. No complaints. Our room was very good size. But the roads are quite narrow and lots of potholes - we ended up with two flats. Towns are about 15 each way and if you come after season the Seauman (sp?) next door is closed which is said to have a great whisky selection.

Room and staff were both very nice. As a hotel it's nicely located and a reasonable value. Parking is ample and the setting is great. Unfortunately they're very short staffed in regards to the restaurant on-property and the service & food suffer as a result.

Great location but very expensive for what you get
