Overall good hotel. Just a bunch of handy man things that could have been fixed up to make the hotel much better. Terrance could be better maintained for better as I think it's a big focal point.

Would not recommend staying here. I booked a luxury room for my family with a young child. This was confirmed! Arrived late night following a long flight to be told at check in at the hotel that my booking was cancelled. The reception staff was rude making out I cancelled it- why would I cancel it myself and then turn up at midnight! I was offered a standard room for one night instead of the four nights I had originally booked! Considering the mess up no one spoke to me the following morning. Definitely not 5star service and not Sofitel standard! Lucky I didn’t stay here longer. I stayed at a much better hotel for the remaining 3 days! Would not recommend - chaotic and again ripped off over taxi arrangement to next hotel.

Not a bad hotel but the pool is filthy.

The room was clean and tidy and a decent space. Checked in and went to the roof top pool to relax after our flight only to be horrified by a dirty pool. Shocked to see this at the hotel. The staff were all friendly and the location is good.
Filthy pool. No signs to say it’s closed.
Not been cleaned for months.
I wouldn’t want to swim in this.

It was a great hotel with very good support staff. The staff was very frinedly and helpful The only improvement we suggest is on the higher level floors, there was loud music sound coming from near by hotel playing music even after fully closing the window that the hotel management need to do something

Too noisy, as there is a restaurant on the rooftop. We change the room and be 2 floor below (Non smoking room) with a strong cold smok door. Next day, we had the paper on the door to do the room, but we forgot the red light DNT...they chose the option DNT instead of the paper on the door... We asked a cocktail at the bar, and we were said that the manager was eating, so they can't do the service (There was too persons). They suggest us to go to the dancing restaurant, but it we were just looking a peace place on the terrasse to sip a drink...We did not ask more for the rest of our stay

Exceptional Service – Kaan Made Our Stay Unforgett

From the moment we arrived, the level of service from the concierge, Kaan, exceeded every expectation. He was warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend you booking the premium rooms. Whilst the view is beautiful, I wasn’t able to sleep at all. There is a nightclub on the rooftop and the music was playing until the very early hours. When speaking to reception, it seems that this is a known issue and the receptionist showed very little compassion. I question why sell these rooms at a premium price, if you can’t sleep at all.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Great location and friendly staff. I did think that the mattresses were a little soft - maybe I like a firmer mattress. More choices for the glasses of wines in the bar would also be an ask.

The sound from the night club on the 9th floor is very disturbing to rooms with Bosphorus view (which are the most wanted and expensive rooms). We started our stay on the 8th floor. We wanted to sleep at 11:00pm but couldn’t due to the music. I called to complain about the noise and I was surprised that Guest Relations said “yes, guests complain about it and the music will continue until 12:30am. I asked for a different room for the second night onwards on the same side. I was given a room on the second floor. The sound was still be heard but less. I believe this is hurting the hotel and needs to be addressed. Secondly, the floor in the showers is not sufficiently sloped and causes the bathroom to flood. We experienced this in three rooms. The hotel facilities and service are very good. The above two areas and the doner kebab shops in front of the hotel entrance lets it down. Hope this feedback helps.
