Don't be misled by the parking offer

Classy and well furnished and decorated apartment. Poor sleeping facility for the third person despite the pretty high price. We were attracted to the hotel for its parking, which was advertised on the website, but it turned out that it was not run by the hotel and we had to pay separately to a different company a lot of money for keeping our car outside the parking on the busy Taksim street all the time and we got stressed that it would be damaged by the flying by cars and bikes. There are cheaper, safer and more convenient parkings 50m away, so we felt misled and cheated.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Our suite was very spacious and modern with a nice city view. Loved the little balcony! The staff was wonderful and offered all the Expedia VIP perks including room upgrade. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Sofitel Taksim has lovely views of Istanbul from the rooms, but like many hotels in the city center, the area it is in is quite busy. The security and scanning at the main entrance is meant to provide safety but is, admittedly, a little unsettling. Overall the rooms are nice - within what is expected from a Sofitel, and the food was good.

I liked the modern look of the room, but definitely the mattress needs upgrade, not comfortable, also they need to have access to Netflix. Overall was good!!
