Oceanfront Beachdrifter - 2/2 Condo with lawn - no stairs, best parking

This is one of two oceanfront ground floor condos at The Beachdrifter which open to a lawn, pool, pergola and, of course, the beach, which is just over the dunes. We love our condos (VRBO # 1899645 and # 1125777) here because they are on the beach and we don't need to go up and down stairs or wait for a cramped, hot elevator. Our parking spots are closest to the doors and these condos open to the lawn.

Please note: to protect the community from damaging hurricanes, the city of Jacksonville Beach has built higher dunes, which still allow you to hear the crashing surf and see some ocean, but we can no longer see the waves break on the beach. We still love the convenience of parking next to the door (the closest spot) and walking right into the condo.

Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a king bed, two twins, and a full sofa sleeper, and everything you need for a vacation at the beach. We keep sand castle gear, beach chairs, beach towels, a sun umbrella, etc. And we can provide a pack-and-play upon request for your little ones.

We also have fast wi-fi, streaming TVs, an Apple computer with 27-inch display, and more.

We accept dogs on a case-by-case basis for $29 per pet per night. And we have a short pet agreement for you to sign. Please note that the building does not allow pets to enter the common lawn and pool area and our building recently enacted a 50-pound size limit on dogs.

Our condo is located in the heart of Jacksonville Beach, one of Florida’s most vibrant beach towns. Whether you plan to bring your board and hit the waves, enjoy local bars and dining, catch some live music, quiet strolls along the beach or simply enjoy breathtaking sunrises from your sofa or patio, you have every option at your fingertips.

The condo is conveniently located within walking distance of all of the top local attractions and is just a couple of miles from popular Neptune and Atlantic beaches.

The Orange You Happy Condo is the perfect seaside retreat, offering both rest and relaxation and plenty of dining options and nightlife, right on your doorstep. It’s the perfect fit for anyone looking to enjoy a magical oceanfront sunrise while sipping coffee on the patio. Or to read a good book by the pool. Or take long strolls on the beach. Enjoy the surf and sand. A family holiday. Romantic getaway. A visit with relatives who live nearby. Or even a local escape for those who live in nearby towns.

One of the best VRBO stays we have ever had. Property just as described with amazing beach access. Max and Sarah responded quickly to all questions and gave great suggestions. This condo was perfect for our stay on the beach as a family of 5. Everything was very clean. Being on the first floor was amazing, especially with kids. Having a kitchen and washer and dryer was life changing! They have everything you need and more! The owners were quick to respond to questions. We were worried we would run out of hot water but never even got close with 5 of us showering. There were plenty of towels. The pull out sofa is not an actual mattress but it was perfect for a teenager. The twin beds and king beds were very comfortable. The pool is a great extra, along with the outside shower to rinse off! There is a publix a few minutes away for grocery shopping, along with a fee beachy shops. The actual beach is clean with lifeguards. Busiest on the weekends of course but nice and quiet during the week. We will definitely be back next summer!

Great for a Family Get Away

We rented two side-by-side first-floor condos - Happy Pineapple and Orange You Happy - from the same owner, for our extended family vacation with 8 adults. We had a wonderful time! The condos worked out even better than we expected.The location was great - right beside the pool, and only steps from the beach - and it was perfect that we could bring our dogs with us.We grilled out in front of the condo (there is a small charcoal grill in Happy Pineapple, but we brought our own small weber gas grill and foldable table) and it was so fun to gather around outside to visit and snack while we grilled. I'm not sure that any other place would have worked out as well for us. We will definitely be back!

Great Stay at a Great Location!

Our family of four had a great stay at the condo. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for our vacation and made check in / check out very simple. The condo was very well equipped and very clean. On top of that, the location is perfect, just steps from the beach and centrally located with respect to all types of dinning options and fun activities. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed for five days to visit elementary school friends ( now 74 years young). Love the condo and location to the beach. Rode our bikes around town which was fun with little traffic. The garbage disposal sprang a leak while we were there owners called a plumber right away was very responsive. Would rent again.

Orange You Happy Condo - Fantastic Experience

Our stay at Orange You Happy Condo was fantastic! The hosts were above accomodating. The condo had every luxury needed and beyond. Our family was very comfortable and enjoyed the close access to the beach and pool. Being on the ground level and having every necessity provided made our beach days fun, relaxing and memorable. Easy and relaxed

No steps is HUGE when you are carrying beach gear, have children or walking issues. We have a little swimmer and being able to open the patio door then watch them walk a few steps to the pool was WONDERFUL! I would rather see a peak of water through the beautiful dunes than take stairs. Great neighborhood, clean beach and pier is nearby. We would stay again.

Great location and amazing hospitality!!!

This was our first family vacation with our one year old so I wanted something that would be able to accommodate him. This property was perfect! It’s within walking distance to the beach, the condo parking is right in front of the entrance and being on the ground floor by the pool and grassy area for him to play was exactly what we needed! The condo itself is nice and clean with large smart TVs that have all your streaming apps. They have a fully loaded kitchen with all the necessities and they also have everything you need for the beach and pool! This included nice, thick beach towels, beach chairs, a tent, beach umbrella, pool toys and beach toys! There is a washer and dryer and they have laundry pods and dishwasher pods for the dishwasher, which was also very nice to have. This condo is pet friendly but you wouldn’t know by looking at it because there are no remnants of dogs in there. This was the perfect condo for our vacay but one of the greatest experiences was the hospitality the owners extended. They were able to accommodate an early check in and late check out. They were very quick in their responses and so helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Jacksonville!

Five Star Stay at the Orange Condo

Wonderful stay at the Orange Condo on the beach. Convenient location to many restaurants and attractions. The condo is clean, comfortable, well furnished and has a great parking spot.
