The room is small with no tub and difficult to adjust the temperature. The toilet flushes so loudly that it’s almost startling.
There’s nothing close by to dine at except for a gas station/ Arby’s. The pool is closed. No hot tub which would be nice.
We needed to cancel yesterday because of a situation at home but we would have had to pay in full so instead we will end up driving 14 hours tomorrow - ridiculous.
The soap and shampoo dispensers were empty upon arrival. Door closer was especially strong, difficult to open door without assistance from a mule. Please adjust, or supply mule.

Liked: Staff & service
Staff was friendly, accommodating, and nice but for a newer hotel this place is in poor condition.
The first room we were given was big but the shower, blinds, and fan were broken. The second room was tiny, I could barely walk around the beds and I am a small person. The blinds and fan were also broken in that room and the street noise was terrible. But I wasn’t going to switch rooms again.
After driving 13 hours it was the perfect place to stay overnight. The hot breakfast bar was amazing everything was fresh. Only downside was you had to drive through a truck stop to get into the parking lot and that wasn’t that bad . Definitely would stay there again

Liked: Room comfort
Disliked: Staff & service
Hotel lacks basic essentials.
Shampoo and body wash was not provided. When I inquired at the front desk they claim they “ordered” shampoo & body wash but it won’t ship. Left mirror light is out, housekeeping should have informed maintenance to fix said light. Trash was left on the floor from previous occupant. Only 2 towels were provided for a 3 day stay. When I inquired about additional towels, I was informed housekeeping would bring more, but housekeeping never came. Room 206 had a window but a very obstructed view. All you saw out of the window was the room of the covered porch. Less than impressed with said hotel and will not return to the hotel or the Tru brand.

The walls are thin. Didn’t get much sleep because of all the noise.
The tv conked out, they told us how to fix it, but it still had pauses in service so you'd miss dialog during a show. The electric shades didn't work. The decorative one did -- the one to block out light didn't work so the room was not dark during the night. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Lighting was terrible, we never did find a switch for three of the wall lights. No arm chair to sit on. The 'desk" was a tiny thing on wheels. It was the worst hotel we've ever stayed it. It was pet friendly but there was no good place to walk the dog -- basically around the parking lot. Would NEVER stay in a TRU again.
