Front desk staff was excellent, helpful as needed. Housekeeping was not good, did not clean our room the last 2 days, was given a stare down by one of the older ladies who barely spoke English for leaving our used towels outside the door because our room wasn't cleaned!

The room was clean. I liked that it had a living room area, in additionto the 2 beds. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't great. There weren't many options. Also, there weren't enough towels at the pool. We waited and waited. Maybe asked beforehand do you won't be cold while waiting.

Everything went fairly well. The only two issues were that when we arrived after our 10 hour drive the first two rooms they tried to put us in the emergency fire lights were flashing. And then by the time they got us into a third and final room our cards had deactivated. Joe the guy working there was perfect and handled it very well. I honestly think it was the shift before him that dropped the ball. Then finally one of the elevators was out of service so I made checkout less than ideal taking all the luggage down all the steps. However, if you’re wanting to use public transit into NYC this is the safe, clean, and friendly place to stay.
