Terrible check out experience

Friendly check in staff , asked for a late check out of 1pm and granted by the friendly check in gentleman. However on the check out date, a very unfriendly patronising gentleman came to my door asking me to move out and that the latest check out is 12noon. Despite me explaining to him that i was offered a 1pm check out, he was having non of it and went as far as stating that housekeeping will be in at 12noon to strip my room ready for someone checking in at 1pm; this was at 11.50am, and i was still to bath. I took the quickest bath and made it to reception at 12.04pm. Fortunately the gentleman who checked me in was around, and i asked both of them why the harassment. The gentleman who checked me in kindly apologised and told me that my room had been somehow allocated to someone last minute. I asked the other gentleman why he said i was lying when his colleague next to him was there to explain that he had indeed offered me the late check out. I've stayed in this hotel a few times and have always enjoyed a good service except this time with the gentleman virtually kicking me out of the room in 10minutes. I have no problem complying if changes happen to change a complementary late check out due to new booking needs, but i feel the way this was actioned with no warning was wrong.

Great for an overnight stay when going to Loftus for an evening game however to be woken by the taxi’s at 6am was not welcome!!

Constant hooting and shouting from taxis right outside the room. Broken amenities in the room (light and safe), no hot water in shower. Disinterested staff at breakfast. Shabby equipment. And checkin took almost an hour due to confusion on the system. Will not stay again.

Always a pleasure

This is my favorite place to stay in Pretoria. The parking is safe, staff are always friendly, and there are tons of restaurants within a few feet of the hotel.

Problems with the room

The staff were great but we had to switch rooms 3 times in 3 days due to problems with the room (air didn't work, tv didn't work, power plugs didn't workn etc.). We still enjoyed our stay once everything was fixed. We enjoyed the restaurant and the location.
