Welcome to Alohawaii Properties by the Sea, a registered legal transient accommodations operator with license 90/BB-0013 and registration number GE-039-001-2928-01, TA-039-001-2928-01. We are delighted to share that we have been named the winner of the 2021 Best of Kailua Awards in the category of Vacation Rentals.

Our villa is located on a private beach lane within the exclusive Kailua Gardens estate and features a beautiful pool, hot tub, and Hawaiian gardens. It is equipped with air conditioning in every room, free WiFi, and a washer and dryer stocked with laundry detergent, fabric softener, and bleach. Hair dryers, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also provided for your convenience. Please note you must pass through one of the bedrooms to reach the other, but each bedroom has their own bathroom. The outdoor area also includes a gas BBQ, bikes, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs, mats, and towels.

The highlight of our villa is not only its stunning outdoor amenities, but also its prime location just a short walk down a private beach lane from Kailua Beach, recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The calm waters, thanks to the coral reef just half a mile offshore, make it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. You can also spend hours walking along the beach, marveling at the stunning sunrise and moonrise over the ocean.

Perfect Stay Exactly as described
Family of 5 with 3 teens. Property was exactly as pictured and was perfect location and size for our family. The host, Susan, was wonderful and very responsive. Hot tub was great. Didn't use pool as it was cold (stayed in March), but would probably be great after a hot Hawaiian day. Didn't need the AC but AC units were available. TONS of toys, beach chairs and snorkeling equip for fund days at the beach. This was really appreciated by our kids.

So perfect!
This place made for the perfect way to be with your kids and relax at the same time. The pool and hottub were perfect and the beach was right next door. A little market just a 10 minute walk away. Perfect! We would definitely come back to this same location in the future!

A place where you can feel at home while in paradise.
My family and I had a fantastic time! The property fit our needs, and the location was perfect. If you are looking for the resort feel, this is not your place, but If you are looking for somewhere you feel like a local, this is it. Susan and her family were great hosts; they were quick to answer questions or assist with an issue, and although they gave us our space, they were kind and caring. We absolutely plan on staying again.

Kailua Beach Getaway
A fantastic location to Kailua and Lanikai beaches and walks. A short distance to restaurants and cages and kailua downtown. The host was very responsive. The property was fairly dated and could have been cleaner, however the walk to the beach was so close. The Internet and washing machine were not working, but the owner communicated and got the Internet fixed and did the laundry at their property.

Nice place to stay
Location is superb. Hosts were very nice but did not interfere during stay. Parking is tight but managable, would be nice if spots were designated for units, often when we left someone else was in the spot we were parked in and because its tight it would be easier to get used to one spot. Other guests were pleasant and still felt pretty private. We used the laundry and that was nice. Only other suggestion would be be to have more stock in the unit, we ran out of toilet paper and garbage bags.
