Walking Distance to Keystone Base Area, Gondola, Shops and Restaurants

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a king bed, a queen bunk bed and a queen sleeper sofa. It features hardwood floors throughout, granite counters and our Ivory White Bedding program. The private balcony offers beautiful slope views and overlooks the shared pool and hot tub. Centrally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and festivities. Plus, you're a short walk from the high-speed gondola. Dakota Lodge offers shared amenities including the largest pool in Keystone with slope views and two oversized hot tubs. And it's next to Dercum Square that features an ice rink during winter and a mini golf course during the summer.

The entryway has mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV, a gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Extra linens are in a closet. The private balcony is just off of the living area and offers stunning slope views. It also overlooks the shared pool and hot tubs, perfect seeing how crowded they are before you head down. The first of two full bathrooms is off the main living area and has a pedestal sink and shower/tub combination. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and new stainless steel appliances installed summer, 2020. The dining area comfortably seats four with two additional seats at the breakfast bar. The table pulls out to seat a maximum of six.

The primary suite features a king-sized bed on our Ivory White Bedding program and a mounted flat screen TV. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a shower/tub combination and a door separates the the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom features a queen-sized bunk bed on our Ivory White Bedding program and a mounted flat screen TV.

Enjoy the luxury of a soft, white-striped duvet cover with a medium thick, high quality down alternative duvet. This was our 2d stay at Dakota Lodge; can't say enough about this property! Fantastic location in the heart of Keystone Village & all it has to offer...restaurants, shops, treats, and proximity to the slopes! Heated underground garage made unloading a breeze! Pool & hot tubs right below our balcony...only a quick dadh from the building to the warm soothing water after shredding the slopes! This unit was perfect! Gorgeous view of the slopes and chair lifts, comfortably furnished, all the kitchen tools we needed! Plenty of space in each of the bedrooms. We were even grateful for the charging blocks beside the beds!We will definitely be back!

Perfect location for Bluegrass and Brews festival

We were in town for the festival and this condo was the perfect spot. We had close access to all the events. This condo overlooks the pool and hot tub, so it is a bit loud up until the pool closes at 9:00, but we enjoyed the laughter and sounds of summer fun! The fans were helpful to keep cool. The kitchen was well stocked. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. Parking was easy and luggage carts readily available. Our family had so much fun exploring and playing in the cool river just a short walk from the condo, we spent hours there, chasing trout and splashing around!

Great property! Loved how close it was to the slopes, loved the hot tub. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Had an issue with the fridge and the TVs and after a bit of a wait to speak to someone at the property management office they sent someone over to fix it. Unfortunately it all couldn’t be fixed until a day later. One suggestion would be to provide robes to use for visiting the hot tub and pool as that’s a bulky item people likely wouldn’t bring from home.

However, this is a bare-bones rental compared to others at River Run Village, with sparse amenities and supplies. The living area is very small and cramped for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids), with a tiny eating table which sits under a cabinet (watch your head). It worked for what we needed in the off-season, but not ideal.

We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi, ski storage and more. I had a few doubts during my stay, so I sent emails asking. The answer was very fast, almost like chatting throug whatsapp, even after business hours.My only comments would be that the elevator is too slow and crowded. The second comment is that the ski lockers are too narrow, so you can only store skis and poles, but not the boots.

Everything was spotless.However we had 2 problems. We couldn’t get the TV in the living room to work. Either it needs directions or the remotes don’t work. 2nd problem, a set of outside stairs leading from pool area to the street had not been recently sanded and I lost footing and went down. Otherwise maintenance was excellent.

Check in and out was smooth. Only thing I struggled with was the squish I was of the master bed: it reminded me of a time our air mattress started to go flat and I had to either lay towards the edge and sink off the bed side, or be ready to roll into my husband in the middle as we’d squish together. So crazy uncomfortable for me, but my husband said he wasn’t too bothered by it. Seems too much foam for a mattress for my taste. But regardless, the rental was awesome.

I was surprised how thoughtfully the condo was stocked, with tissue boxes and little trash cans in every room. They had several humidifiers in the closets and they made a big difference. The place was exceptionally clean when we arrived. We also loved the heated parking garage. Unfortunately the pool/ hot tub area was closed for maintenance until the last night of our stay. We did get to use the hot tubs on the last night, they were fabulous there were two big ones. Our unit's windows looked out over Dercum's Dash ski run and we loved watching the skiiers coming down the mountain from our couch. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!

Nice location and great views

Overall we enjoyed the condo. It is in a very convenient location and the views from this condo unit are good. Overall the price point was good. I liked the flooring and granite counters. The condo in general still needs a little updating and in general the Dakota Lodge needs some TLC. We have stayed there many times over the years and just looks like the property needs some fresh paint and carpets. The condo unit we stayed in could use some better appliances (stainless and better quality) and some remodel of the bathrooms. Why do they have a shower/tub in the Master bedroom with no privacy? The rooms are small but that has been true of all of the units we have stayed at in the Dakota. Really not trying to be too critical but offering suggestions to improve a nice unit. We would stay again- we like the location being close to the slopes and the view.

Could Have Been Better

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It's in a great location, but the outlets are overused and do not hold a charging plug. It's not the cleanest and the furniture is worn and needs to be replaced. The TV is out of date and needs to be updated to allow for the Wifi TV services such as Netflix and Amazon Prime....etc. Not all of the hot tubs work so be careful stepping into one, the hot tub tiles are not heated so they build up with ice and are slippery be careful and the pool table felt and bumpers need to be replaced.
