Kamaole Sands #7-408 is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 4th floor with a fully-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, 3 flat-screen TVs, a DVD player, free wireless Internet, and telephone. Air conditioning in the living room and master bedroom, and ceiling fans throughout. In the master bedroom is a queen bed, ceiling fan, flat-screen TV, and full bathroom. Bedroom 2 features a king bed, ceiling fan, and flat-screen TV. Both the master bathroom and bathroom 2 have a shower only. There is a queen sofa bed in the living room. For outdoor enjoyment, Kamaole Sands #7-408 is equipped with beach chairs and beach towels. Tropical garden view with a peekaboo ocean view from the lanai. This unit sleeps 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features two tennis courts (no fee) and three pickleball courts. Adult and junior tennis rackets and pickleball paddles are available to rent with complementary balls. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Great Holiday

Overall we had a great stay in this unit at Kamaole Sands. The location to the beaches was so handy. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the sand toys, umbrella (it broke on the second day, I messaged the property managers and they delivered a new one that afternoon), beach chairs, wagon and boogie board.The Kitchen & bathrooms need a deep clean, but it affect our stay too much. The King size bed in the master was not great to start with but was replaced on our last day there, so it will be a good bed going forward.Overall I would highly recommend this condo

Requires a massive deep clean; kitchen especially, bathrooms/showers as well. Frying pans need replacing. Lacking typical cooking appliances (slow cooker, roaster).Master mattress needs replacing; roll to the middle. Pillows are well used and could use updating.

Excellent location by Kamaole Beach III

I had a lovely stay at the Kamaole Sands condo with my husband, 18 month old and parents (4 adults, 1 infant). The unit was very well stocked for a young family (beach toys, umbrella, wagon, booster chairs, travel crib, snorkeling gear and more). Great view of the property gardens and we could see the ocean from the lanai. The beds are quite soft but comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with various pots/pans and utensils. We loved using the communal BBQs. The walk to Kamaole Beach Park III was less than 5 mins. The unit was comfortable, but could have been cleaner.

Clean unit and great location

Clean, great location near Kam 3, top floor unit with spiral staircase and vaulted ceilings that made it feel larger and allowed more light. Beach chairs and boogie boards well-used but meant we didn’t have to buy or rent anything. Would stay again. Check in at main office took a while, but that’s the association and not the unit owners.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed our stay. Unit was very clean and provided all the amenities needed. We did have an issue with the upstairs sink not draining. The property manager did send someone out quickly, but the handyman did not successfully unclog sink. Just a small inconvenience. Overall, very happy with unit.

Wonderful location and unit with variable service

Overall we had a nice stay in Kihei. The unit was well set up and amenities were nice. When we checked in, one of the beds had a bunch of sand in the sheets however, so we did a fair amount of running around to sort the issue. We were told to email the property manager but didn’t hear back until the next day, at which point we were told that it was our fault for not reaching out via a different channel. In the end, we didn’t let it impact our stay, but certainly could have received better communication.

Great place would stay again. Only complaint I had was with the the property manager. They appear to landscape from 8:00am - 5:00pm daily. The constant whine of the blowers was annoying, but it was Maui - We survived.

Very nice!

This was our second time staying at KS. We love the location, grounds and bbq areas. As for the complex, our teenagers (16, 17) were disappointed that they were turned away from the gym. Also know that security very strictly enforces quiet time at 10 pm and folks cannot linger at the picnic areas after that time. This particular suite is quite nice. Comfy beds, fluffy bath towels and a good blackout curtain to the lanai. It was very clean upon arrival but for some stains on the kitchen ceiling that had been missed. A few little improvements could make the suite even better: a new broom, new door mat, new beach towels (some were stained), more glassware (only one wine glass, three coffee cups) and a corkscrew. The wifi proved to be a challenge. In reading past reviews, I noticed at least one where there was a comment about the fridge freezer not always sealing properly and this remains the case. Would we return? Yes. Would we recommend this particular unit? Yes.

Great place to stay

Having stayed at numerous condos at Kamaole Sands, this unit is one of the better ones. Everything was as advertised and even better. Beautiful updated condo. Clean, comfy beds. Plenty of space for a family of 4. Nice location. Close to the BBQs and pool. Kam III is right across the street and one of our favourite beaches to go to first thing in the morning. Great place to call home while visiting Maui. We would definitely book again in the future. Only thing we would recommend is having more BBQ tools.
