Oceanview Condo | Walk to Kamaole Beach II | Updated Kihei Getaway w/ AC

This two-bedroom, two-bath Maui vacation rental is located in the heart of Kihei and has access to many of the shops and restaurants local people love. The rattan furniture in the living room is cozy and inviting. The living room in this condo is wide open and sunlit, making it great for relaxing. The living room opens up to the lanai, which has new patio furniture and new flooring. New AC installed in 2024.

The kitchen boasts a generous granite countertop fit for storing all of your groceries and ingredients to make your favorite dishes in your home away from home. With a maximum occupancy of six, both bedrooms offer en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed with two nightstands on either side of the bed and a dresser at the foot of the bed for you to store your belongings during your stay. This en-suite bathroom has a grand mirror over the vanity and a newly re-tiled walk-in shower with an etched glass door. The second bedroom also has a queen bed. There is also a queen sofabed in the living room. Both bedrooms have views of Kamaole Beach Park and are close to many wonderful Maui experiences. Pack light as this vacation rental offers a full size stacked laundry system.

This condominium complex in South Kihei has two pools on property for their guests to use and even has BBQ gas grills so you can enjoy some lunch at the pool or dinner under the stars. Each building has an elevator for ease of access and lots of beautiful foliage to decorate your Hawaiian vacation. This property also has tennis courts for the days you feel like being more active.

Located near Makena, this condo complex is across beautiful beaches and near local favorites for shopping and dining. Across from the property is Kamaole Beach Park II and Kamaole Beach Parks I and III are located only a short walk to the right or left. After some fun in the sun, find some good eats at Cafe O Lei, Fred's Mexican Cafe, or 808 Deli. If you feel like shopping around and gathering some souvenirs for home, swing by Kihei Kalama Village open-air market where you can find trinkets and attire signature to Maui. You can even dine in some of the great restaurants in the area such as Three's Bar and Grill or Kihei Cafe. For more familiar options, Starbucks Coffee Company, Safeway, and Ross are located in the Piilani Shopping Center right up the road.

Great little home away from home.

Unit was very clean and comfortable! The most impressive part was that it was thoughtfully stocked with items you actually need. For example, the kitchen had different cutting boards and different size knives. It had pizza racks for cooking, different sized pans and lids to match! These things make a big difference. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We will definitely come again to this unit, highly recommend.

AC in the Bedrooms would help, but nice place to stay.

Great location, but of course, it is Maui. Biggest drawback is that the Unit only has AC in the living room and really doesn't keep the bedrooms cool which got quite warm at night. Nice view from the balcony. Short walk to the beach, and many shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The clothes dryer broke right before we arrived, so that was inconvenient, but management offered a discount that was very fair. Overall the stay was great, but having AC units in the bedrooms would be a big plus. Grounds are well maintained and the on-site management very helpful. Felt very safe walking the neighborhood even late at night.

Nice condo

The condo was very nice. The only thing was that the pictures of the unit showed one of the bathrooms had a bathtub. It was a little disappointing to see both bathrooms had walk-in showers-no bathtub. We thought the property grounds should have a little more lighting at night, as it gets very dark quite early.

Very nice unit across the street from beach

Kihei Akahi 519 is a nicely laid out two bedroom, two bath unit . The kitchen is well stocked with just about everything you could ever want and has great appliances. The living area is comfortable for four people as is the small deck. It was very nice to have a full size washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable; the smaller bedroom has a double bed, though. The second bathroom was not really “en suite” as there was no door between the sink area and the main living area. We never used the AC as the ceiling fans and open windows/doors kept the place cool. Having an assigned parking space was a plus. Overall, this was a great unit.

the condo worked well for us . nice to have extras such as beach chairs and well stocked kitchen . only negative is some of the snorkel gear needs replacing and if you want air conditioning it does not work
