Nonsmoking room was clearly used for smoking with cigarette burns in the bedding as proof.
Not well cleaned, soap left in shower. Service not very friendly, doors locked indicating not the best area.
Cheap hotel with no cable
We stayed in room 105. When we got there after a 13 hour drive, went to get ice and was told the ice machine didnât work. Went back to the room, There was a lot of mold on the shower curtain, bathtub wall and ceiling. The bath tub looked like someone very dirty took a bath, drain the water, and never even rinsed the dirt and grime down the drain. It was rather disgusting. I drop my glasses behind the night stand. When I pulled it out, it had not been cleaned for some time. There is a personal ID card laying there as well. I left it there. There is no excuse for the condition of the bath room. No way could my wife or I consider taking a shower there. We will never be back!
Woman at the front desk was nice but 1. Room was definitely not nonsmoking. It reeked of smoke. There was a serious mold problem in the corner. Water was dripping from the ceiling. The carpet was was nasty dirty. Walking barefoot left muddy foot prints when I stepped in the tub. A "Pet Friendly" hotel but the grassy area for the dogs was full of garbage. Neither the Hotel or Hotels.com would give a rfund (despite the "Good" rating)
The shower had mold and the shower curtain did also. There was old food in the fridge. No breakfast, no coffee and homeless folks there. Only perk. Dog friendly
Pros- the woman at the front desk was very nice and the hotel is fairly close to the stadium so that was nice. The price was decent, comparatively (it was a Tn/Alabama weekend)
Cons-there is a large homeless population around that intersection and it appeared as though a couple of them were doing drugs on the stairs near our room both days. They didnât bother us but I was uncomfortable. The room did not feel clean, (there was dust on the lamps, floors looked dirty, stains on the mattress covers).
We will not stay there again.
This place is a DUMP. The office was closed the majority of our 3 day stay. They never once emptied the garbage cans in our room. The sink leaked and was missing the cover on the handle. The shower leaked from underneath so much the floor was a puddle everytime creating mold on the baseboards. The hair dryer didn't work and the cord on the coffee maker was pulled away exposing the wires. Holes in the bedspread. Bug in the bathroom. we were not there to see it, but there was a University of Tennessee football game Saturday, so the room I thought I was paying $74 a night for was actually only $74 for Thursday night, Friday and Saturday was $170 a night. THIS WAS IN NO SHAPE OR FORM a $170 a night room I don't care if the '72 Dolphins were playing the '85 Bears. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
