From the edge of the dramatic cliffs, just above the crashing waves, you can watch the sunrise in the morning as well as the sunset in the evening, without even switching the spot your standing on! During the winter months, this is one of the best locations on the island for watching the whales that also make Hawaii their seasonal home.
This 3-bedroom, 2-œ bath, home is perfect for an island holiday with two families because there are 2 En Suite master bedrooms. (1 king, and 1 queen). Additionally, there is an enclosed loft with one full bed, and two twin beds. We also just installed a brand new ($29K) state of the art split A/C system. It's the most efficient type of a/c available, so this is now one of the most comfortable condos in the resort!
The entire home is newly outfitted with all-new island dĂ©cor and furnishings. Enjoy the ocean view from the lanai, or stroll down to âthe pointâ to see everything up-close. The Hawaiian sea turtles show off every day in the cove in front of the complex. The spinner dolphins also enjoy performing for your viewing pleasure. Additionally, in the winter months, you'll see Humpback whales playing, splashing, and breaching as they navigate around the point.
Makahuena is located in between the town's two main beaches. From the condo, it's less than a ten-minute walk to Poipu and Benneckeâs Beaches to the west. You can also hike east from our property along the cliff trail to Shipwreck Beach.
