Aloha & welcome to our home - Hale Kika @ Poipu Kai resort. Hale Kika is an open concept beach house with great views from the main living area, 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Views from the house span from the Haupu Mountain to full ocean views. Our 2-storey home offers a relaxed, quiet environment, with expansive covered Ipe lanais on both levels, perfect for enjoying your favorite book or a meal with family and friends. On the ground floor are 2 guest bedrooms, a bathroom and large laundry room with washer and dryer. One guest bedroom offers a queen-bed and a private Ipe deck & lanai with ocean views. The second guest bedroom offers 2 twin-beds which can be reconfigured as a king-bed.
Located on the 2nd floor is the master suite, and an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom is roomy, with a king-bed, an ensuite bathroom complete with double-sinks, a large dual-head walk-in shower and walk-in closet space for an extended stay. There are glorious views from the master as well.
The kitchen is updated with granite counter-tops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove-top and oven (rare on Kauai), and beautiful Koa cabinetry. Our home is very well maintained and appointed with all the comforts of home as well as the amenities you need for your adventure exploring, snorkeling or swimming while on the island of Kauai. A great breeze circulates throughout to keep it cool and cozy during your stay.
Hale Kika is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, and plenty of open spaces to absorb the sun and view the Pacific. The Poipu Kai resort has carefully manicured grounds, well-lit walking paths, 8 tennis courts, and a recently remodeled resort pool and spa. Poipu Bay Golf (0.5 mile) and Kiahuna Golf (1.5 mile) courses are nearby. Hale Kika is within minutes from Shipwrecks Beach, one of our favorite surf spots; and the start of the famous Mahaulepu Heritage hiking trail; less than a 1/2 mile from Brenneckes Beach, Baby Beach; or from the Poipu Kai resort tennis courts and resort pool and spa.
