I really wish I could give it all stars because I really like the building and the common area.
Firstly, there is no reception or concierge on the site. You have to open the doors with the lock box code that you receive in advance to get into the building and into your room, that’s OK however, if there is anything that you may need no one is around to help you, you have to message the property manager, and she will look into it.
I had a basic room with the address and bathroom upon arrival. I noticed there’s a very bad smell so I messaged the manager and she said she can come and pour something into the sewage to stop the smell. I had to leave the house. I told her she can come and do it. When I arrived in at night, the smell was gone. I decided to take a shower. The water was freezing cold. I ran it for five minutes and it was still cold so I managed to wash the soap off me quickly as the water did not warm up.
Then I was freezing cold while trying to sleep I thought I could use another blanket as I was shivering. I looked around. there’s no spare blanket so I had to put on all my clothes to feel warm enough to fall asleep.
There was a noise of water running intothe walls and you could hear that constantly, I think the entire plumbing system of the building ran through my room, maybe.
Then, around 12 midnight the upstairs people show up and start banging things to the floor that I could hear completely.
So all in all it wasn’t a great day for me.
