The outstanding Vila Nova restaurant is a 2 minute stroll and L'orange restaurant is a 5 minute stroll from the villa with Monte Santo resort around the corner. Beautifully quiet area for relaxing by the private pool but still close to the bay and square for nights out, great restaurants and beaches all close by. Brand new bathrooms, new kitchen and floors. Outside terrace and gardens recently landscaped. This villa has everything families require to ensure a great holiday. 2 bedrooms with king size beds and en-suite facilities, one bedroom with 2 x single beds and a new bunk bed and a half bathroom. New Kitchen including black granite worktops. Large lounge with leather reclining sofas. Dining room overlooking the pool . Bedrooms and lounge are air conditioned. Casa Mimosa is absolutely beautiful, very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The photos do not do it justice, the Villa is very spacious, and furnished to a very high standard. The pool & the gardens are absolutely stunning too, lots of areas to sit & relax, & plenty of inflatables & toys to keep the little ones entertained in the pool.We were a family of 6, (including 2 small boys) and we all absolutely loved Carvoeiro, and the surrounding area.We were met, and welcomed on arrival by Liz, who is really lovely, and gave us some helpful information regarding supermarkets, restaurants, & places to visit etc. Unfortunately, the week went by far too quickly, but we would not hesitate to return, and would like to thank Marc for letting us share his beautiful home.

Excellent stay. Brilliant communication throughout and very helpful with questions and local information. Villa is better than the photos suggest, and it's much bigger than we thought. Plentiful outdoor seating and well stocked kitchen. Gardens well kept and very easy check in / check out process. We had a toddler and felt it was pretty good for pool safety and had lots of areas for them to play. It's close to a few nice restaurants but it's a bit of a walk back from the town given its elevation. Only thing to improve would be slightly more comfortable beds and stronger a/c, but overall it was extremely good and we'd happily come back and stay again.

Casa Mimosa is a fantastic villa, the pictures really do not do it justice. I really cannot fault it, its very spacious (there were 5 of us including 3 children) the outdoor area is stunning with lots of seating areas. The pool already had inflatables and a box of water toys, this was brilliant as it helped keep the children amused and saved us purchasing them. As recommended we walked down the hill into town most days which took 15 minutes. We used taxi’s to come back up on average the cost was 6. This is our second time in Carvoeiro & we enjoyed it immensely (again). The vila nova restaurant on the same site is fab and serves the best sangria. It also has a good kids menu. There is a very small next to the vila nova restaurant but it’s pricey there is a larger shop 10 mins walk away. Liz was brilliant and was on site to greet us on arrival & gave us loads of helpful info. We shall return at some point in the future. Thanks to owner Mark

The best villa we have stayed in!

The villa was exceptional - the pictures and description don’t do it justice! It is roomy inside and has really decent bathrooms and kitchen. Outside was better still, beautifully landscaped and various areas to suit everyone; whether you want sun or shade, there was always a spot.The pool is big and well maintained and we enjoyed the inflatables.This villa is clearly a holiday home used by owners rather than ‘just a holiday rental’, as it so well kitted out with a great selection of kitchen equipment, towels, pool towels, comfy beds etc.Marc was great and very accommodating of our requests, and communicated well before our stay.Liz who looks after it was also lovely and super helpful when we had questions!It is around 15-20 minute walk down the hill to the beach, and we also loved the boardwalk along the cliffs. We also visited Ferragudo (the beach there is great) and Lagos which we would recommend.All in all a 5* holiday that for us was faultless.Thank you!

Fantastic home from home!

Fabulous villa

What a lovely villa! Spent 10 days here with my husband and son, and elderly parents, so it was perfect for them as everything on one level, with ensuite bathrooms with walk in showers. Tons of space, large bedrooms, comfy beds,and pillows, and gorgeous outside spaces. Very well equipped kitchen, basic condiments, water, oil, tea bags and coffee were all there too. Pool was cold, but it was end of October, so to be expected. Great communication with Marc the owner, who gave us lots of tips of where to go, supermarkets, restaurants etc., and the lovely Liz, who was super helpful and sorted any issues or queries we had while we were there. The area itself was very quiet, but a short downhill walk into town with plenty of restaurants and bars and the beach, and while we could walk back up, it was too much for my parents( and when we had bags of shopping) so we used plenty of Uber taxis, which were super cheap and quick. In fact we were going to hire a car, but because uber was so cheap, we didnt bother, as it worked out cheaper, even to visit local towns like Ferragudo, Portimao and Silves. Was our 1st visit to Portugal, and had the best time, would definitely return.

Spacious, modern Villa with everything you need for a fabulous holiday

The Villa is a 10-15 mins downhill stroll into the beautiful town of Carvoeiro (we then tended to get a taxi home!). The Villa is really spacious and easily accommodated our party of 4 adults and 3 children. The pool is a very decent size and provided hours of fun every day for the kids. It’s equipped with everything you need for you holiday and was modern. Marc was incredibly helpful prior to and during our stay. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your wonderful home!

Lovely villa - pool has large shallow end

The villa itself is lovely, very spacious, clean, well equipped with nice bathrooms. The outside area is also well laid out, with a few seating areas. We enjoyed a couple of bbq’s, sitting round the covered table. The pool is large however the shallow end extends to half the pool and we found it too shallow for our family of adults and older teens to swim comfortably in without fear of scrapping limbs on the bottom. Having said that this would probably suit families with younger children who like a large area they can easily stand up in.

Perfect location

Beautiful home in the perfect location! We parked our car and just used bolt/uber to get us up and down the hill which was a short less than 5 minute ride The home was spacious and clean, the outside was well kept There is also a restaurant across the street with a little convenience store Would definitely recommend!

Carvoeiro - stunning!!!

Absolutely loved the villa and location - well within walking distance to the town centre, packed with restaurants and bars, and stumbling distance back was ok:) There is plenty to do in the area - stunning beaches within a short car ride or stay at the villa and relax next to the pool or under cover out of the sun. Our family loved it - the best villa and location that we've been to in the last 10 years

Family holiday

From day 1 of booking our holiday Marc has been fantastic, answering any questions and always happy to help making sure that we had extras like a travel cot and high chair ready at the villa for our arrival. When we arrived at the villa Liz was fantastic showing us around and giving lots of advice. The villa is absolutely beautiful, in a perfect location close to everything, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carvoeiro is such a beautiful town one week just wasn’t enough to get round all of the beautiful sights and activities. I couldn’t recommend this villa enough.

Superb holiday

Beautiful property, everything you could wish for for a family holiday. Would highly recommend. Liz the manager is very helpful and friendly. Marc the owner responds quickly to any queries and gave us advice on local amenities. The local restaurants L'Orange and Vila Nova serve fantastic food and deliver great service. Perfect family holiday

Beautiful villa; the pool in particular was a big hit! It was great there was a decent shallow end for our youngest (age 5), and the pool toys were brilliant too! We’d definitely return. Very responsive managing agents. Special mention to Liz for getting hold of a gluten free welcome pack for us and allowing a late arrival - 11pm!! Would recommend the villa as a perfect place to stay! Thank you, we had a fantastic stay!

Amazing Stay

We had the most amazing time in The Algarve and we are so happy we picked this house. It was the perfect location for our family and friends within minutes by car to Carvoeiro. It was easy to get to other areas from here. We loved the house it was perfect for the 8 of us with plenty of space to spread out. We loved the outside and pool. The only wish is that we had hoped the pool water would have been a little warmer otherwise just perfect!!

Superb Villa

The villa exceeded expectations. Although slightly out of town the location was fine as we had a car but a gentle walk into Carveiro is possible in about 20 minutes. The villa itself was very clean and well equipped with everything you could need , comfy beds and lovely bedding and towels. the garden with it's array of plants and trees is a delight and beautifully cared for. A big thank you to Liz who greeted us and went out of her way to help with a few slight issues that we had. (nothing major, just needed help using a few things in the villa) Highly recommend this villa to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in a lovely peaceful location.

Fantastic villa - a true 5* experience

We have rented many villas and this is up there with the best. The furniture is extremely comfortable throughout which is also a rarity in rentals - especially the comfy beds! The kitchen is very well equipped and had everything we needed although a large bowl for salad would be a good addition and some BBQ tools. As others have said the restaurant across the road Vila Nova is fabulous and they also have a snack menu which you can take away at lunch time should you not want to move from the pool. Also L’Orange is a five minute stroll and that was also an excellent restaurant. Beach towels and hairdryer were provided which also makes the suitcase a little lighter. The pool is a lovely big size and there are some pool toys to play with too. For younger guests the pool is very shallow for almost half of it so plenty of safe space and a deep end for jumping. I honestly couldn’t fault this villa and really hope to stay there again. Thoroughly recommended and thank you Marc for letting us stay in your beautiful home from home.
