A decent property. Quiet. No frills. Reasonably priced. The area overall feels safe. I’ve stayed a few times over the past year. A few minor upgrades could go a long way. The ice maker on the second floor has been “out of order” on every visit. More importantly, some doors and locks need to be repaired and reinforced, primarily for safety, but also for aesthetics. It seems to mostly serve temporary workers in the area. It’s probably more than adequate for that or a quick overnight stay.

The room 126 that I stayed in was next to the utility room. At about 230 am there was constant noise coming from there as the staffed were filling their carts, which kept us up.

The room was clean and the staff at the front desk were great. The not so great was hearing people talk outside on the patio at 1-2:30 AM. Our room was on the second floor over looking the patio, so this was annoying to have to listen to a group of people outside our room. Lesson to be learned, don’t take the great deal handicap room above the patio.

Nice clean and close to interstate 10. Room was nice, beds were so comfortable. Big bathroom and area seemed quiet and safe. My only comment is tv needs cable, lol. It took for ever to change channels

Quick weekend getaway

My first time staying at this hotel and I was pleased with quality for the price. I was a little concerned with the restroom vent running everytime the bathroom light was on, and no way to turn it off. Also my bathroom only had one washcloth, but there were two guests in the room. Everything else was great.

I love that this place is so quiet and the location makes it very convenient to get to Lake Charles and all other locations to DeRidder. The staff is very polite and helpful. I love the fact that housekeeping actually knows that the guests are in need of daily supplies. I would highly recommend this hotel!
