Girls' Get-Away

Fantastic location
Posted Feb. 4, 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband, 2 kids and I stayed here for Winter Fest and had a great weekend! The location can't be beat right on the lake and walking distance to all the great Lake Geneva shops and restaurants! The indoor pool and hot tub were a great amenity and the unit was very clean, comfortable and felt spacious for our family of 4 for the weekend. We really liked that the room is right by the resort lobby as it was quick to get to the pool and attached restaurant. We definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Avg Unit but location good

The room is on the 1st floor right next to lobby and elevator so it was difficult to sleep and having the bed right when you walk in by the door made it worse. Room was dated and showed a lot of wear & tear- cups and bowls with cracks, chips and scratches, bathroom door was difficult to shut and open. Most annoying was the shower - which leaked into bathroom floor, water never got hot and 1 shower head was too high to reach so forced to use handheld which had weak water pressure. It would have been nice to get a hot shower. Expected a much nicer rental for the price.

The resort had a plumber adjust the water pressure and temperature.
We also replaced any chipped items.
As far as the rental fee goes our property is competitively priced.
Not sure why you say the room is dated because it's personal preference and pictures of the suite are listed.
I was unaware of your unpleasant stay . In the future please address hosts of any issues so we can rectify your concerns right away!

Perfect place!
Far nicer than a hotel room, Cove resort is extremely well managed, tons of parking if you go way back in the lot and on the back of the resort, one block from the YMCA, Culver’s/McD, BK, KFC 5 mins away, right next to the lake downtown. 5 minute walk anywhere downtown.
Re parking… We went to a concert near Racine Saturday night and assumed we’d have a hassle finding parking when we returned late… not true. 3 big parking lot sections in the front and lots of open spaces on the back of the property.
Condo location within the resort is ideal! Immediately inside the lobby: easiest condo in the resort to unload and load up, elevator and stairs to pool just a few feet away, coffee bar/lounge and resort convenience store right next to the condo, patio overlooking pool, brand new comfy furniture/bed, tons of pillows, well cared for. 2 TV’s! Stove, utensils/plates/glasses, full fridge.
Noise wasn’t an issue! The Cove attracts a nice crowd, families and couples, not partiers. You hear no more noise than the usual hotel kind and after about 10:00, it was awfully quiet, even on the weekend.
Pool area was awesome…staff was very good and checked all guests to ensure they were truly resort patrons. Well-behaved families and kids!
Ok fitness center and if you want more, again, just hit the Y one block away.
This place is great. Owner Kris is extremely responsive. STAY HERE!!!

Nice but…
Posted Mar. 1, 2023 on HomeAwayThe Cove is nice, the check in going through VRBO was easy and the host was responsive.
I did not like the location of the unit. Its not a one bedroom, it is a studio. The door to the unit opens and the lobby is right there- so anyone who is standing in the lobby can see into your room, and the bed is right when you enter.
I also would have saved a substantial amount of money booking directly through the hotel- and I viewed another room that seemed to me to be just as large. I wouldn’t go through vrbo again for this type of stay

Also if you check in through the resort they charge 15.00 a day resort fee, plus Sales Tax AND Occupancy Tax.
Also you might get a room that has NOT been updated at all since every room is owned by an individual owner and managed by the resort.
Many rooms offer standard finishes with no personal touches.
If you read through SEVERAL other reviews, we have been told we have one of the best locations in the resort and have been rated 5 STARS!
We offer a clean comfortable suite with many extras and exclusive offers mentioned in the listing.
Lastly, our suite is listed correctly as a luxury spacious studio suite that sleeps 4 comfortably.
I've also been proudly recognized as a Premier Host.

Great stay at The Cove of Lake Geneva
Posted Jan. 22, 2023 on HomeAwayMyself and two friends stayed the weekend at this VRBO at The Cove of Lake Geneva. Location is fabulous. Easy walking to downtown, even in the colder weather. Easy parking for us all with parking passes. The attached restaurant/bar (Lake City Social) has good food/drinks at a nice price. The condo itself was well appointed with furnishings, with the basic condiments, glassware and plates in the kitchen. A regular coffee pot and Keurig k-cup (with some coffee in stock) also available. Overall it was a great stay, hoping to do it again sometime soon!
