This custom built, 3 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath lakefront home has 3 master suites...all with breathtaking lake views. Features include granite-counter tops, high end stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, tile baths, stone fireplace and much more.
Each guest will savor the privacy of the bedroom suites. The main level king bedroom provides easy access to the kitchen and living area while the 2 lower queen bedrooms are separated by a living area a bunk bed.
Step out onto the upper and lower decks to relax and admire the sweeping view. Enjoy lakeside activities from your two stall custom boathouse with covered seating area. Convenient access to area restaurants, activities and the grocery store! Lake Lure living at its finest!

The town of Lake Lure is open and welcoming guests following Hurricane Helene!
Access roads and essential services, including power, water, and WiFi, have been restored, thanks to the hard work of contractors and volunteers. While the Chimney Rock area, Lake Lure beaches, and waterfront are currently closed, there are still many nearby attractions to enjoy.

Area restaurants, including those in Lake Lure and Asheville, are reopening, and there are many activities available within an hour's drive, including golf, wineries, breweries, music, trails, waterfalls, and more. Tryon Equestrian Center is hosting some Chimney Rock businesses affected by the storm. Saluda, Hendersonville, Forest City, Asheville, Greenville, SC, and Charlotte, NC, all make great day trips.

NC VACATION RENTAL STANDARDS
First, be aware that the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act provides you with certain rights and protections. Second, we would like to make you aware of a few local regulations designed to promote a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY LIMITS: The maximum occupancy limit for this home is 8 persons. You must provide us with the number of people and vehicles in your group. Violation of occupancy rules are grounds for immediate eviction with no refund, and fees will be charged to your credit card to cover any damages.
DESIGNATED PARKING: Vehicles must be parked only in designated areas on the vacation rental property. Parking in the roadway blocking the flow of traffic and parking on neighbor's property without permission are prohibited. Contact your rental's property manager for offsite, overflow parking options. There is parking for 3 vehicles at this property. No RV's trailers, campers, or oversized vehicles of any kind.
ACCESS: You will receive directions and access information once we have received a signed rental agreement securing reservation (this agreement will be sent to you for electronic signature) you will also need to provide a copy of your government issued ID to our company with current mailing address and contact information along with vehicle registration of each vehicle that will be at the home during your stay. You will be emailed check in instructions 24 hours prior to arrival provided you have signed your electronic rental agreement and sent in a copy of your photo ID and vehicle information. If you go to a property prior to approval from our office before check in time you will be accessed an early check-in fee $50.
TRASH DISPOSAL: All household waste & trash must be placed in receptacles considered to be animal proof (e.g., durable with secured lids) when available unless advised otherwise due to increased bear activity.
MINIMUM AGE: You must be at least 25 years of age to reserve a rental property and sign this lease and must also be a guest at the property during the entire term of the stay. You must present a valid government ID at time of check in. If you are not 25, you will NOT be allowed to check in and no refund will be provided.
NO HOUSE PARTIES: We do not accept reservations from sororities, fraternities, spring-break parties, bachelor / bachelorette / wedding parties, graduation parties, or ANY similar groups unless approved at time of reservation. Mr. Lake Lure Vacation Rentals works very closely with local law enforcement to patrol our rental homes, and report to us any occupancy violations. Any violation of this rule mandates you immediately vacate home without refund, regardless of the remaining duration of your reservation.
FIRE PROTECTION FOR YOUR SAFETY: Fire Extinguisher and Evacuation Plan -This home is equipped with working fire extinguishers and a posted evacuation plan. Removing any of these from their designated location is prohibited. Avoid storing items not to block hallways, doorways, steps, entrances and exits. Small Outdoor Fires - When an area burning ban is in effect, bonfires are prohibited. Contact your rental home's property manager for information on any burning bans. Outdoor fires are only permitted in a place and manner approved by the Fire Chief.
LAKE ACTIVITIES: Swimming: Do not swim farther than 50 feet from shore unless accompanied by an observer in a boat.
Fishing: A North Carolina fishing license is required, and all state fishing regulations apply.
Boating: If a boat is provided with this rental home, please ask for and review the pamphlet entitled “Lake Regulations & Map”. If you wish to utilize your own boat on the lake, a permit is required and can be obtained at Town Hall or at the town marina.
PERSONAL CONDUCT: Trespassing - Venturing onto a neighboring dock or pier, boat house or property without the owner's permission is prohibited.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is prohibited in all our vacation rental homes. You will be accessed an additional cleaning fee if it is discovered you have been smoking in the home of $500. We ask that all smokers stay a minimum of 10 ft from any open window or door, do not stand near open doors or windows allowing smoke to enter the home while smoking on property. Please make sure butts and ashes are not left behind. Discard the butts and ashes in the outside garbage. Do not throw butts on the ground (including the fire pit) or bring them into the home. If there is any tobacco smell in the home after your departure, there will be a minimum $500 charge. Oil lamps and incense are not permitted due to the long-lasting odor. If these policies are violated, there will be a charge for excessive cleaning.
NOISE: Unreasonably loud noise is prohibited throughout the Town. Please observe quiet hours after 10 p.m. and be aware that sound carries very far over a still lake.
UNRULY BEHAVIOR: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced.
PET FRIENDLY HOMES: This is a Dog friendly home there will be additional non-refundable pet fee listed. CATS ARE NOT ALLOWED 2-Adult Dogs are allowed with additional nonrefundable pet fee of $60-$120. Dogs must not be left unattended or must be crated if left at home. Dogs are NOT allowed on the furniture; we ask that you please always pick up after you dogs and be mindful of the neighbors and keep your dogs on a leash.
RENTAL AGREEMENT AND TOTAL BALANCE: You will be required to sign a vacation rental agreement before your reservation is secured. Your total amount listed on the Mr Lake LureÂź Vacation Rental Agreement may be different than the amount paid to the 3rd party site you book through. All third-party sites charge differing amounts as service fees to guests for using their services. We have no control over those fees and do not collect them.

ALL PROPERTIES OFFER AN INITIAL SUPPLY OF THE FOLLOWING AMENITIES:
(including, but not limited to): bed linens and bath towels (2 bath towels and 2 wash cloths per Tenant, 2 hand towels per bathroom sink), dishwasher detergent (2 loads) and dishwashing soap, sponge, laundry detergent (2 loads), hand soap, (1 set per bathroom sink, including hotel size: 1 bar of soap, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner and 1 lotion), paper towels (1 roll), toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom), and garbage bags (2 kitchen bags, plus 2 black bags). If you don't feel this will be adequate for your stay, you will want to stop and pick up more on your way. All properties provide fully equipped kitchens or kitchenettes, including coffee makers as well as some cooking utensils. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the Property Owner and are not accessible to Tenant. Rearranging furniture or removing any items from the Property is prohibited.
ITEMS YOU WILL/MAY WANT TO BRING FOR YOUR STAY:
Extra folding chairs, beach towels, shampoos/ body soaps, hair dryers, basic cooking condiments, tin foil, plastic wrap, food storage containers, coffee, board games, fishing poles & tackle, floats, life preservers for toddlers/infants, golf clubs.

*** Lake Lure will be undergoing a drawdown starting January 1st, through the first quarter (March 31st). The lake will begin to be lowered by approximately 1 foot per day until 12 feet has been reached. Infrastructure maintenance, dredging, and dam projects will be expedited during this time frame. These efforts by the Town of Lake Lure may affect access to the lake and restrict any lake usage. The lake will likely be back up to normal levels by mid to late April. No personal watercraft will be allowed on the lake during this time. While we understand this is an inconvenience, this does allow you to enjoy the full beauty of Lake Lure in the fall and holiday season. For more information about the annual lake drawdown, please contact the Town of Lake Lure.

Great way to wrap up summer!

We had a great mini trip to Lake Haven to wrap up summer. We spent most of our time around the awesome boat dock floating and staring at the great views. The kids loved the lake mat! The views from the house were A+ as well. Thank you for sharing your home, it truly is a haven on the lake.

What a wonderful stay! The house was cozy, the deck was spacious and a great place for relaxing, the lower deck became our outdoor gym and the boathouse was a great spot for long afternoons of swimming and kayaking. It was a quintessential lake house vacation.

Lakefront Beauty

Beautiful home and lake views. Clean. Excellent service and guidance from property manager. Great location near grocery, gas and several very good restaurants. Had a rental boat delivered right to the dock. Great A/C. WiFi was excellent. Could use updated cable box for TV. Recommend backing into driveway for ease of departure. Loved it!

Beautiful home with Great Lake views

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at this home. A new home is being built next door about 20' from this house. We listened to hammering and power tools every day-very noisy even when we were swimming. We said hello to the workers because they see and hear everything you say or do. If I had known this, I would have stayed somewhere else. The house was very clean and had a great layout. Loved the boat house--was like having a patio on the water. The rental agency was very responsive. We even got to see a bear swimming across the lake! I would stay at Lake Lure and use Mr. Lake Lure again, I would choose a different home because of the construction.

Very nice and well kept property. Loved the lake.

Very nice property. We enjoyed our time. The main items I would suggest the owner is to buy trash cans that have a good closing latch. After two days having to clean up all the garbage the racoons left in the street, I used a large boulder to stop them from opening the trash can and making a mess. The driveway is hard to park the first few times as some of the other reviews but after a couple of days I got used to it. Another thing, one of the beds downstairs, needs the matress replaced or something, you could not get of of the bed without making a lot of noise.

Relaxation on the Lake

We had a wonderful time at this property. Two balconies and the boat house provided plenty of outdoor places to enjoy looking out on the lake. We also had fun in the kayaks provided by the owners. The only drawback was the driveway which was very difficult to maneuver. We had to have someone guide us in and out.

We enjoyed the stay. The master suite was very convenient for our daughter and husband with an infant. No problem with the house. We did have a little problem with parking as it was difficult in getting out. If we had friends over there was not much parking. But overall, we had a pleasent stay.

Amazing Place!

This location is perfect, the views are amazing, the lake is fantastic! The reviews on the kitchen supplies are correct, it's a very strange collection of items, and hard to make full meals with. Other than that it was a great place to stay. We had a lot of fun.

Beautiful home

The house was clean and filled with all amenities needed. The views are great. One drawback is the wifi and television setup. That said, if you're renting this home you are not going there for that. If you have children it may be an issue. Overall I would absolutely rent here again.

Great home with Beautiful Views

We enjoyed out stay here very much. Home was clean and the views were beautiful. Many windows let in light and the scenery. Each bedroom was an ensuite and kitchen was large. Parking was tight and a little hard to maneuver, but that seems common for the area. We could not get the bedroom TVs to work, but this did not affect our stay.

Spectacular

Booking this property was an easy choice. The home is lovely. Spacious. The kitchen was fantastic for preparing our meals. While it was not fully stocked with my preferences of meal preparation items, it was adequate. The surrounding deck provided spectacular views of the lake and changing foliage. We found the beds to be comfortable and attached bathrooms clean and spacious. Our stay was most definitely five star*****.

Pros- This beautiful property was as pictured. The windows brought in lots of light and framed the lake view. The Lilly Pulitzer bedspreads and shower curtains in all the bedrooms and bathrooms were a nice touch. Each bedroom had its own bathroom with the exception of the bunk beds in between the downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was spacious with a large island which was perfect for food preparation. The decks and the boathouse had a nice view of the lake. Cons- I would recommend bringing your own cooking utensils, scissors, food storage containers and a mixer or blender as the supply was spotty ( the silverware supply was good). The deck was in need of a pressure wash and stain and the outdoor furniture needs to be updated. The stairs down to the boathouse were many so be aware that older visitors may have difficulty with them. Overall we were happy with the property and enjoyed our stay.

Quick Getaway

We enjoyed our time at Lake Haven. The space was ideal for our two small families. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen pots/pans/utensils could use some organizing and updating. We cooked all our meals and made do with cookware and gadgets, but if we stayed here again, I'd bring my own.
