Off The Clock is located on the 6th fairway of the renowned Apple Valley Golf Course at Rumbling Bald Resort in Lake Lure! This home boasts an exceptional open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, spacious rooms, and abundant outdoor living areas, including a covered front porch complete with porch swing and cottage-style walkways, a screened back porch, and an enclosed patio on the lower level. The enclosed patio has a beautifully designed pool table, air hockey table, television, and seating area!

You'll enjoy the new hot tub on the open deck overlooking the golf course after a day of golfing or hiking at one of the numerous hiking trails in our area. The screened porch is perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening while listening to the sounds of nature.

The main level of Off The Clock has a beautiful stone fireplace with gas logs, a half bath, a semi-open office/ school zone for anyone needing to work while away from home, and a master suite with a king-size bed. There is an open, fully functional kitchen with a large pantry, so don't hold back; bring everything you need for your cherished family recipes. This is a perfect home for your family trip! The grill is brand new and in an ideal location. Plus it's hooked up to the main gas line, so you don't have to worry about running low on propane.

The lower level offers two additional bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with two queen-size beds. This level has a full bath with easy access for each bedroom. Each bedroom in this home has a flat-screen TV. The lower level can serve as your space to unwind privately before joining the group, or open the doors to the game room and turn this into a social haven!
A luxurious romantic escape for two or a very comfortable home for up to eight guests. You won't have to leave the area to have an action-packed vacation utilizing all the abundant Rumbling Bald Resort amenities, including two championship golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts, putt-putt golf, restaurants, and more!

My family and I met here for our annual vacation. We had a blast! The proximity to the lake was phenomenal. The home itself was clean, perfect temp, great games and amenities, and a stocked kitchen except for our food. I am looking forward to renting again!!!

Relaxing Family Time!

We enjoyed family time together with our three grown "kids". While we had some outdoor fun at the Rumbling Bald pool, tubing the Green River, and a Lake Lure boat tour....what they kept saying was how nice and comforting the house was to just hang out together! We enjoyed game time, hottub time, and some movies. "Off the Clock" was spotlessly clean and outfitted with everything you need in the kitchen. The new decking is sturdy (I read one review prior to booking that said it was rickety) and this vacation home is well taken care of!

We liked the area and the management team was great to work with during our stay. The property needs to be updated , we had boards coming up when we walked to front door , back deck has been neglected needs painted and we were worried about heavy hot tub on it . Carpet downstairs has multiple stains and bathroom down needs a good cleaning . We won’t be coming back to this property because we felt it was overpriced for the condition of the home. We did enjoy the Rumbling Bald resort .

Beautiful Property

This is a beautiful property! The house feels huge and would be fun to share with friends or family. Roads aren’t hard to drive through to get here. Tons of blankets, games and TVs in every room to keep you busy in the house. Kitchen is well equipped (I would suggest the purchase of serving dishes for those who plan to stay in and cook). Beds were comfortable and linens are nice! Please note: COVID requires that guests make reservations for use of indoor pool/hot tub and gum! We went on a busy weekend and didn’t know that reservations were necessary. We missed out on that amenity, as only 6 people are allowed in the indoor pool at a time!!
