The backyard view and canal access is a highlight of this property. Ascend to the boathouse's rooftop seating area for panoramic views of the canal with comfortable shade from overgrown trees. And when you're ready to get on the water, it is only a short ride down the wide canal to sandy bottom Lake Grassy.
Inside, the home features a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and comfortable family room with a couch (converts to a full bed), power recliner, flat screen TV and electric fireplace. The back family room also includes a flat-screen TV, bunk bed, and desk. You'll find a billiards table in the game room and dart board in the garage for indoor entertainment, along with an assortment of puzzles and board games.
YouTube TV is included on all four flat screen TVs throughout the home.
The home sleeps nine with three bedrooms. Two with queen sized beds, a third with a bunk bed (full & twin mattress), plus a convertible couch in the family room. The house has three full bathrooms. Or get away and work remotely with high speed WIFI and an office with a desk and office chair.
As for the screened-in lanai, it's more than just an outdoor space. This haven includes plush seating perfect for reading or sipping your morning coffee, a hot tub for ultimate relaxation, a tiki bar with barstools and outdoor fridge ready for happy hour, a Weber grill, firepit table, and an outdoor smart TV. Whether you're cooking up the dayâs catch or simply unwinding after a day on the water, the lanai offers a tranquil setting for any activity.
The roomy one-car garage includes an opener you can use, and a 220V plug to accommodate an electric vehicle charging cord.
The rental includes access to Lake Grassy from the Sun n' Lakes private park and boat ramp less than a mile away. The park also includes a sandy beach, playground, tennis / pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, and more!

Please note - the home uses well water. While the water is treated every other monthly and the water heaters are regularly serviced, some guests have reported a mild smell associated with the hot water. The water is perfectly safe, and we provide a 5 gallon water tank in the home for those who prefer to drink / brush teeth with bottled water. (Refills for $3 can be obtained at the local publix).
