Great location
Posted Dec. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayWe enjoy how close this property is to Bok Tower and the fact that it has a beautiful, quiet location on a lake. The home is clean and well-stocked with towels, cooking supplies, novels to read, and a piano! (My only problem came when it was time to check out and I struggled to see the numbers on the lock box in the dark, but that is probably as much my aging eyes as anything!) Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us. Looking forward to staying here again.

Wonderfully Relaxing
Posted Dec. 7, 2022 on HomeAwayEven though Florida's weather wasn't cooperating (cool with periods of "liquid sunshine") during part of our visit, we stayed warm and dry while enjoying some of the many distractions this home offers, including large collections of books, puzzles and games, solid Internet connections, etc.
Once the sun finally made a showing, early morning mists were followed by stunning views of Lake Starr. And the views remain awsome all day long and into the evening.
We will be back to enjoy more of the beauty and relaxation offered by the wonderful Lake House!

Posted May 23, 2022 on HomeAwayI wish my plans had not changed and that I would have had more time at the property. It was very relaxing and the amount of games/books/misc the owner left as "relaxation activities" was amazing.
The communication from the owner was fantastic. Very spot on and friendly.
If I ever go to the Lake Wales area again, this is definitely my first place to stay.

Posted Aug. 10, 2018 on HomeAwayWe absolutely love staying here and hope to be back again. Sandra and Bill were easy to deal with and very trusting with great class. The gift basket was an unexpected pleasure and the real flowers in the living room area were a nice little touch.
