"Las Canteras Beach" is a long sandy tongue, occupying about 3800 meters of coastline, which extends along the bay.

Las Canteras is one of the best urban beaches in the country and the world, with good weather almost all year round. The capital's place to relax, where time stands still and where you can do sports any day of the week, bringing swimsuit, bikini, glasses and tube (snorkel), paddles (beach rackets) or surfboard.

Additionally, it is a great marine life reserve.

We recommend the long walk that continuously winds along the sand, passing by cafés and ice cream shops. At the beginning of the walk, you will find the terraces of La Puntilla and fresh fish restaurants. At the other end of the beach, the surfer atmosphere around the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium, with more terraces and cafés facing the sea.

It was ok, but too expensive for what was offered

It's advertised as remote workers house and in that price range I can expect the basics to be there. But we had to buy a lot of stuff for the "household" ourselves or request it from the service company. It wasn't very clean and a flat with rugs without a hoover ... The rugs haven't been cleaned in a very very long time if ever. The window couldn't be closed when we arrived but was repaired quite soon. The staircase was also super dirty and then cleaned maybe after 2 weeks or so. But soon after, there was a water leak so the stairs were all wet for quite some days. The smart lock is a bit annoying and the buzzer downstairs doesn't work. So if you want to get delivery, have visitors or just let your family / friends in who went to the beach without keys, you always have to run downstairs - which also can get quite annoying. The street (and sometimes neighbors) can be quite noisy. But that seems to be normal there. They don't have sound insulation. The service company does respond and help you out, but imho all these things should have been provided and cleaned and repaired before we got there. For a budget home I wouldn't complain, but as mentioned, that wasn't cheap. We did enjoy our stay but the housing situation was a little bit of a drag. Anyway, location is great and it did it's job.
