My wife and I just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lissette's condo. The condo itself was clean,quiet with very comfortable beds and a nice small groundfloor patio overlooking a serene greenspace populated by scattered palm trees. The grounds of the hotel/resort in which the condo resides was modern, clean and sat on what was one of the loveliest beaches in the area and for us, one of the most beautiful beaches we have seen anywhere in the world. The area in front of the resort was lined with palm trees, as was the entire coast line we visited up and down. There were always seating options in front of the pool and the beach with many loungers and umbrellas available. (And one had the option of sitting in the shade under the palms if no umbrella was free.) Their was table service on the beach and while we ate no dinner at the resort restaurant we enjoyed an excellent breakfast there and their bar served up great frozen Margaritas ocean side. The water in the ocean was very warm and clear, and one could walk for a couple of hundred metre's out before it got deep. We rented a car through the hotel which was delivered and picked up for us at the hotel which worked out well. Valerio was a great restaurant 20 mins walking on the beach west and there were others on Playa Bonita further east along the beach, but we chose to drive the car for the latter as it was more convenient. We appreciated Santa our housekeeper and we certainly hope to book another stay here in the future.

We enjoyed the most amazing week from beginning to end. Started before getting there. Owner very helpful with information regarding the facility and town. Santa, the housekeeper explained all details thoroughly on how everything worked. The apartment beautifully decorated with all the accessories that one needs in the kitchen .

Beautiful and peaceful

My family enjoyed a week long stay at this beachfront apartment in July 2022. The host went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and was attentive to any needs we had. This was a quiet, laid-back mini-resort type feel with a restaurant/bar, pool/spa, and gym. Las Terrenas has beautiful topography and everything we needed was within short driving distances. We would definitely come here again!

Such a perf et spot to hideaway to for any holiday. Great host who was very helpful along with an amazing maid / cook who went above and beyond for us. The location is absolutely perfect on the beach yet close enough to get into town. Five star all the way !!

My wife and I spent a week in the DR (Las Terrenas/Playa Coson) in Aug 2017. After booking with Lissette, she was in constant contact both prior to and thru the entirety of our visit. Prior to our arrival in the DR, Lissette arranged for transportation to and from the airport in SD, sent us information on restaurants and various excursions, and timely answered all email communications. Upon arrival in SD (and even after our flight was several hours delayed), our driver was waiting for us and quickly wisked us off to Las Terrenas. He was extremely accommodating and stopped to allow us to take photos along the way and took us directly to the grocery store to do some initial shopping before we even arrived at the condo. Upon arrival in Coson Bay, we were blown away by the simplicity and beauty of the area and the open air entry. Roberto was awaiting our arrival and helped us with our bags and groceries to the condo. The condo itself was exactly as pictured. It was extremely comfortable. Although just my wife and I, the condo has a 2nd bedroom w/ 2 double size beds and full bathroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about everything you could possibly imagine, from plates to cutlery to glasses/cups and cooking supplies of all kinds. Similarly, the condo is stocked with lots of towels and has a washer/dryer -- a huge bonus! And,the beds were extremely comfortable and the A/C worked flawlessly. As for the location/beauty, it is unsurpassed. When we walked out to the beach the first evening to check out the grounds, my wife was so overwhelmed she cried, even though we have traveled to Hawaii nearly 10 times and been to other tropical locations. The pool is great, the open air restaurant/bar are very charming and the food/drinks are great, the music at the pool/beach is mello and not too loud, the staff are very helpful/warm (even though I spoke no Spanish and my wife very little). The vibe is super chill, quiet and not crowded. But the best part, of course, is the unmatched beauty of the beaches. Amazing sunsets every night, went on excursions to explore other nearly beaches and Los Haitises, and loved exploring the downtown area in Las Terrenas by day/night. The only bummer is the condo isn't walking distance to town and taxis are expensive. But they are well worth it--our driver Paul always arrived promptly, spoke English, and took us grocery shopping for no extra charge. Ive the housekeeper was also amazing!! Great spot for families too

We feel extremely fortunate to have found this jewel; this residence apartment was lacking nothing. I think we arrived during a transition in housekeepers; though the name of the housekeeper may have changed, the service provided was excellent. There were no surprises. The photos of the site do not really transfer the serenity and tranquillity. The one word description would be Fantastic Dream. That's two words, I am aware, emphasizing that there is no single word description that I can think of that would be sufficient. This place was full of amenities in the kitchen, for those of you that enjoy cooking, I foresee no problems. The two bedrooms were great and spacious. Sufficient closet space for clothing and storage of luggage. The master bedroom was equipped with locking closets for those with security concerns. I spent two weeks in the Dominican Republic, visiting multiple areas and friends, my wife and I, in conjunction with our traveling compadres travelled with quite a bit of luggage. Coson Bay, is indeed a hidden jewel, with Ocean views, Ocean front, Private Beach, sun canopys, groves of palms, beautiful clean pools and wonderful accommodating service. The local village had a large supermarket, bancos for currency conversion and a small shopping area that afforded me the opportunity to purchase additional SD cards for my cameras. Though, I thought I brought along an sufficient amount, the picturesque views afforded too many opportunities to capture great memories. The Colon Bay property is very secure, I saw only people from adjoining areas walking the secluded picturesque beach and gorgeous horizon of the Atlantic. A Romantic opportunity every night and sunrise. The Resturant within the resort is average but good. The service by the staff of Colon Bay was outstanding. We loved this place enough to make an annual visit and to introduce this jewel to additional friends and family. The owner, Lissette was a real pleasure, contacting us in advance to determine our anticipated time of arrival and any immediate or pending needs she could assist with or provide. We were met by the housekeeper Ivernese (sic) who accompanied us to the supermarket to set up our brief stay. No matter how well one plans, there never is a sufficient amount of time. Our trip was a week too short! I think, had we had another week, it too, would have been too short! Thank you Lissette and Franklin for allowing us to stay in your beautifully appointed vacation home.

Went with my family for spring break vacations to Lissette's property @ Coson Bay, from the very first moment knew it was going to be fantastic because of Lissette's attention to details previous to our trip. When we arrived, it was close to getting into heaven, a beautiful apartment with almost everything we needed ,less than 1 minute walking distance to one of the most beautiful beach in Dominican Republic, beautiful gardens, a pool that invited to go in for the transparency of the water.. and must of all, attentions from Bella during our stay and every staff member in Coson Bay that were willing to make us spend a great stay. For sure, we may recommend Lissette's property for anyone willing to have a great vacation in paradise!!!!

My husband and I had a marvelous time at Lissette's home on Coson Bay just outside of Las Terrenas. The condo is large, bright, clean, well-equipped, and beautiful. The location is quiet and very scenic. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio each morning and evening and looking out over the beautiful grounds. There's even a slight view of the ocean from the patio. Lissette is a gracious host. She was responsive to each of our inquiries and provided us with invaluable information. Bella, the housekeeper kept things cleaned in the condo and cooked breakfast for us one morning. We asked for, and she prepared a fairly typical Dominican breakfast and it was delicious. I was under the impression that the breakfast preparation was included with the cost of the condo rental but there was a $10 charge for a full breakfast and, of course, we purchased the food. Still, the cost of the breakfast was a bargain compared to the cost of breakfast at the onsite restaurant. The food at the restaurant was good but lacked much variety and costs much more than food in town. The restaurant does offer pizza for a reasonable price. We were so fortunate that Bella's husband, Paulino, volunteered to provide taxi service for us. His price was reasonable and he was very flexible, so we enjoyed a number of meals in the town of Las Terrenas. The town has a good selection of restaurants offering a great variety of eats at extremely reasonable prices. I think Cayuca was my favorite. Twice we took the trek down the beach (west of Lissette's place) to Luis's and sat out and had beers. It was great exercise and a fun time. Lissette's condo is only steps from the beachfront. We spent many hours just relaxing by the ocean, watching the waves come in, and listening to music. The water is mild and we enjoyed the warmth when we entered the surf. The staff of Cosan Bay is friendly and accommodating and will do all in their power to ensure you enjoy your stay. I look forward to a return vacation in this area.

Our family of 4 including 2 boys age 6 and 13 stayed at this condo for 4 nights in Jan 2016. The condo is very clean, beautifully furnished and came with a wonderful housekeeper who cleaned and cooked breakfast daily. The condo is in the Coson Bay Hotels and Resorts and has its own private beach. After spending our winter vacation on many gorgeous white sand beaches in Las Galeras and Las Terrenas, we thought the Coson beach right in front of the property was one of the nicest! Long stretch of soft white sand for walking, shallow waters for swimming and boarding for the kids. What more could one want? The condo is about 20 minute drive from the town of Last Terrenas which is bustling with shops, banks, pharmacies, galleries and restaurants. The Tres Lunas restaurant was our favorite, right on the Las Terrenas beach and they had delicious paella and tortas. The condo owners speak English and they stayed in touch with us via SMS and provided helpful recommendations. Highly recommend this condo and the beautiful town of Las Terrenas!
