Do not stay here! The pictures do not give an accurate portrayal of reality. We booked this property based on the reviews available at the time, but shortly before our stay several negative reviews appeared that made us concerned. Unfortunately, our experience confirmed those concerns. We reached out 3 days in advance attempting to cancel but the host refused and assured us we would be satisfied with our stay. It is not in a very nice area and the instructions are super unclear for where to park or find the residence. The residence did not feel clean at all. The biggest issue was strong pot smoke smell entering the unit from a neighboring property through a shared wall. Even though the listing states the home is non-smoking, the smell inside the rental was very noticeable and made the environment uncomfortable—especially since I was staying with my wife and kids. It gave me a headache and made me dizzy and we had to vacate after 20 minutes. We contacted the host and they explained the neighboring property was outside of their control and VRBO was even less helpful. They did issue a partial refund, which we appreciated, but ultimately refused to give us a full refund and there was no further resolution.If you are sensitive to pot smoke or traveling with family, it’s something to be aware of before booking. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t match the expectations we had when we reserved the property. I would be very cautious.

Very clean and host was very responsive with communication. Neighbors smoke a lot of marijuana which can’t be helped but something to consider with kids. Parking was a bit of a challenge but easily overcome. Location was not in the greatest of neighborhoods. Damage or repairs were noticed in the home. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

We were not able to gain access to the property and there was an aggressive pit bull trying to jump the fence to get to us. I messaged and called the host and he just said that I have the codes. I did have the codes he sent me but they didn’t work. I tried to call the host but he sent me to voicemail several times. We had to rent a hotel since we couldn’t get in and didn’t feel safe. The VRBO rep refunded the service charge but says the owner refused refund because I cancelled. I cancelled hours after check in because we couldn’t get in.

Initially checkin changed from 3pm to 4pm morning of check-in. We arrived at 3:15 when no parking or host was apparent we called vrbo customer service who talked to host and host said we should park invthe desert. Customer service had no idea what that meant. We asked them to check, but they could not get ahold of her again. We moved to a different spot in front of a set of six garages. This was across from a black car. A tall man wearing a jamaican tea shirt came out, stared at us for a few minutes and got in the car with darkened windows. After several minutes of him doing, we don't know what he finally got it in gear in dove off. A few minutes later, he was back.And pulling in towards the garage farthest from us. We were by then talking to a supervisor who, after several times was able to get a hold of a woman with a jamaican accent. This was about a quarter after four. By this time we had no interest in staying thereAnd were concerned that they were trying to run some sort of game on us. And I advised them of that the supervisor I didn't really care and sent an email claiming it was resolved that they were going to charge me. Do not trust anyone at this listing they are either playing or running a game.

The photos do not represent the actual state of the property. Damaged paint, stains on the ceilings, missing ceiling panel in the kitchen, exposed wiring due to missing light fixture. Missing light bulbs and burned out bulbs. No toilet paper in bathrooms. Property hosts 6, not enough dishes to feed 6 people. The property was also dirty.
