Staying in the mountains offers a unique and nature-immersed experience, characterized by a rustic charm. You might occasionally encounter some of the local wildlife, insects, and small critters that are part of the natural surroundings. We recommend keeping doors securely closed whenever possible. Rest assured, we've implemented thorough measures to ensure your stay remains undisturbed by these natural inhabitants.

The unit is new and very clean. The bathroom and kitchen are very nice. But the bedroom is very small. The pictures show a closet door in the bedroom. But the closet is VERY tiny and when we were there,it was filled with a vacumn, sheets, and a Keurig. No room for anything. Also the 3 drawer chest next to the bed is very small and holds very little. The bed had a light cover and there was not an extra blanket.Nights are cold in Leadville and a blanket would've been nice. The living couch is a futon, very small, and hard. I'm 5'2" and it was too small to be comfortable. The chair in the corner is also not comfortable. The two BAR stools should be counter height stools. They are too high to use at the island. The unit is advertised as forested backyard. That is partly true but if you step out on the small deck to your left is the very junky, trashy yard of the next door neighbor. We didn't look into the loft as the ladder is very steep. You would have to be young and strong to heft a suitcase up the ladder. It's nicely decorated and the bathroom is lovely. The kitchen appliances are all very nice.
