Within 5 minutes you can walk to authentic European-style shops, enjoy quaint Bavarian music, and visit our local breweries. Right across the street is a fully stocked local grocery store, Dan's. Leavenworth offers easy access to skiing, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, riverfront paths and an enchanting downtown stroll. Arrive by train or park the car in your private space (room for 4 vehicles plus on street parking) for the weekend. This turn-of-the-century home has old world charm and a cozy atmosphere that will take you away from your work-a-day lifestyle. Bergen Haus is a comfortable and welcoming home that has been enjoyed by many families throughout the years.

The 5 bedrooms have comfortable queen sized beds with ample space for luggage and personal items. A large living room, and dining area provide plenty of room for the family get together or friends enjoying each other's company. Meals are easily prepared in the modern, well appointed kitchen. Family members can sit by the cozy fireplace and enjoy this retreat after an active day. For hot summer days we have added AC window units (in two of the bedrooms) plus ceiling fans throughout the home & bedrooms.

The location was amazing and the house was charming. There was a lot of dust which was challenging for allergies and the electric plugs were very loose which made plugging in electronics hard. Putting the day garbage is collected on the fridge with rest of notes would be helpful. The bathroom drain downstairs is very slow. Maybe plugged up. It accommodated us very comfortably. We walked to downtown 2 to 3 times a day. Loved it and loved our stay.
