The home is situated on a section of the Wenatchee River with low-bank river frontage. Rivers have swift and unpredictable currents. Great care should be taken when playing in and around these environments.
This home has surveillance cameras in place and in use. One is located on the deck facing the river and one is facing the driveway. These cameras are outward-facing and do not look into interior areas.

Peace and serenity

The River Chalet was perfect! The views and sound of the river brought a level of peace to this otherwise chaotic world. Definitely recommend this property for those looking for a true escape.

Wonderful Home close to Leavenworth

My Husband and I brought our two kids (2 years, and 9 months) to stay. We loved the location so close to Leavenworth, but felt very secluded although right off the highway. The views from the home were breathtaking. It had pretty much all the amenities we needed including for cooking at the home most of the trip. We really enjoyed the hot tub and cleanliness of the home. I do wish I would have researched better So I knew there were only showers and no tubs (made it difficult for my littles) maybe include a picture of the bathrooms showers? Anyway, we would give 6 stars if we could! We loved it.

Absolutely Stunning Location & House

We spent a 4-night honeymoon stay at the property & would definitely return! We immensely enjoyed sitting in the living room chairs which were oh so comfortable in front of the fireplace gazing out the huge windows, soaking in the hot tub, & enjoying the fresh air on the decks (upper & lower) all while gazing at the breathtaking river & mountain views. The house had multiple spacious bedrooms & bathrooms & all the amenities you could possibly want. We did try out most of the beds & found the mattresses all to be too firm for our liking but we do prefer a softer mattress so it just depends upon your preference (we were able to use the extra bedding & pillows for additional cushion). The property is conveniently located to Leavenworth (I recommend going to The Alps Fudge/Candy shop on your way) & we found so many post card picturesque spots along the way to explore & take pictures. Also, don't forge to sign the guest book (just one of the cute extras in the house). I would highly recommend this property & the communication with the property manager was easy!
